Your posting of scripture is meaningless, because you have no Living witness to back up who Jesus was.Wrong!
Ephesians 1:7
"In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace."
This verse explicitly ties forgiveness to the shedding of Jesus’ blood on the cross. His blood is the price for redemption and the means by which forgiveness is granted.
Colossians 1:19-20
"For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross."
Forgiveness and reconciliation are accomplished through the blood shed on the cross, which brings peace between God and humanity.
Matthew 26:28
"For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."
Jesus directly connects the shedding of His blood on the cross with the forgiveness (aphesis) of sins, fulfilling the promise of the new covenant.
Hebrews 9:22
"And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission."
This verse shows the necessity of bloodshed for forgiveness, with Christ's sacrifice on the cross being the ultimate fulfillment of this principle.
1 Peter 2:24
"Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed."
Jesus’ death on the cross ("tree") is described as the act by which He bore our sins, allowing for forgiveness and the healing of our spiritual condition.
Forgiveness of sins is a direct result of Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross. Through His blood, shed for humanity, believers receive redemption, cleansing, and peace with God. The cross stands as the central event in the divine plan of salvation and forgiveness.
