May He do the same for you, as well, friend ;)Good day ,Sir..May God Bless you abundantly as you journey with him.in Jesus Name...Amen.
Why does God cast the vast majority of those whom He loves (according to you), into hell to be tormented for all eternity.
Yes, you took what Peter said in his epistle to the Apostles, and applied it to unbelievers. I'm not sure why you tried to cast pearls before swine, but I can tell you that it is offensive to God and to His Saints. Can you show me using scripture, that what I have underlined in bold is true? thank you.
Wow.Brother,, I have been led to believe that a saint of God, are to think lowly of themselves, to be a humble witness for the Lord,
Look at this short commentary as well.
In general, saints are believed to be good examples of how people should live, or what people should do. Saintly Qualities Examples may include: holy, kind, humble, respectful, obedient, loving, caring, brave,
compassionate, selfless person, help others, never do anything that can hurt anyone, forgiving.
Also @Christian Soldier
8. The elect are instructed to clothe themselves with nine things: compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness, love, peace, and gratefulness.
Hold on.....wrong thread! The use of jack fencing expanded westward during the 19th century as settlers moved into the Rocky Mountains and other remote areas. Its portability and ease of construction made it popular among homesteaders and ranchers who needed to enclose large areas quickly and efficiently. The design allowed fences to be built on uneven ground and moved as needed, which was especially useful for seasonal grazing and protecting crops from wildlife.
Your theology is utterly messed up. The bible doctrine of total depravity applies to every single person who was ever born after Adam. So we are all born dead in our sin, and as I tried to point out to you, a dead man can do nothing but stink and you say a dead man can chose to repent so Gods Word is against your Arminian doctrine of free will.Yes, Satan "asked to kill Job" but then expected Job to "curse" God while dead...right? LOL
Satan had free will to start a war in heaven, but didn't have free will to kill Job?
Make no mistake, Satan CHOSE to obey God when He commanded him to spare Job's life just as he CHOSE to depart from Jesus in the wilderness.
And now, answer the question: how is it that the one who wrote the book on "Total Depravity" is able to choose to obey God, but "totally depraved" humans who can't hold a candle to Satan are not able to choose to repent?
No, dead wrong. God does not love pagans. He only loves those of us who are in Christ. You won't find a single verse in the bible to support this heretical teaching.Yes, but He loves pagan, non-brethren, stranger neighbors, right?
Oh, wait...He "hates" them but commands us to "love" them...right? LOL
Sorry, I can't agree with your view here, because Gods Word does not support this idea that one has a choice between heaven and hell. To the contrary, God said, "you didn't chose Me" and "none seek after God, no not one. All have gone astray".See if you can understand this... @Christian Soldier
Think...
There is a short and straight road.... and Hell is on one end, and Heaven is on the other end.
This road is your life, and you have come to the end of it, and you are about to die, in 1 minute.
Jesus is in the middle of the Road, on The Cross.......and He says....."You see the 2 destinations" ???
That is your eternity...
You get to CHOOSE.
A.) I AM the only way to HEAVEN.........so, do you want to Go THERE?....
If not, then reject me, and you have chosen to go to the OTHER end of this road, and that is Hell.
See that?
See that CHOICE?
Sorry, I can't agree with your view here, because Gods Word does not support this idea that one has a choice between heaven and hell.
With respect, none of the above makes sense “ to me” ..probably, because they are your words..please post scripture, then maybe you can interpret, what said scripture is saying.that would be a great start.Gods people are hated by the whole world, so we will never make friends with the world and the Church is bitterly divided by those who hold to the truth of the gospel and those who reject the truth and preach a perverted gospel. We don't value fellowship, over the truth of the gospel.
I posted , on how a saint / elect should behave, that you say, you are, here they are again. Those nine things you listed, don't come at the expense of the gospel. We must proclaim the truth of the gospel to all creatures,
Berean Standard Bible | Par ▾ |
and when the gospel is rejected, we don't have any fellowship with such people.
Look below ,when Gods word is posted...instead of men’s/ woman’s opinions. The things of God are foolishness to those who are perishing, so how do you suppose highly intelligent men can forsake their wisdom and embrace foolishness. You won't find many gifted intellectuals, embracing the gospel, but you will find them mocking God and His people.
1 Corinthians 2
Sorry but the Word of God is against your private opinion, because it doesn't make any sense at all and it's not supported by any scriptures.Faith in Christ is the WAY to Heaven.... John 14:6
Christ Rejection, leads to Hell.
Who decides that?
You do.
You're the believer, or unbeliever.
God never offered salvation to anyone, and He never asked anyone to chose. So your private opinion, is not supported by Gods Word.See if you can understand this... @Christian Soldier

Would you say, that some follow the Bible word for word in their own understanding ?God never offered salvation to anyone, and He never asked anyone to chose. So your private opinion, is not supported by Gods Word.
The Church is bitterly divided into 47,300 Denominations and rising. I can't have fellowship with those who claim to be Christians, while denying what God said, and twisting scriptures to make them say something different. With respect, none of the above makes sense “ to me” ..probably, because they are your words..please post scripture, then maybe you can interpret, what said scripture is saying.that would be a great start.

I do hope you aren’t disagreeing on how the elect should behave .ive posted behaviour in bold and underlined it for you.
Put On the New Self
Berean Standard Bible Par ▾
(Ephesians 4:17–32)
1Therefore, since you have been raised with Christ, strive for the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is youra life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
5Put to death, therefore, the components of your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed, which is idolatry. 6Because of these, the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience.b7When you lived among them, you also used to walk in these ways. 8But now you must put aside all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.
9Do not lie to one another, since you have taken off the old self with its practices,10and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. 11Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, or free, but Christ is all and is in all.
12Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14And over all these virtues put on love, which is the bond of perfect unity. 15Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for to this you were called as members of one body. And be thankful.
16Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. 17And whatever you do, in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Ok..then I ask again..show me where the scripture was only talking to the saints, Born Agains, please?
I ask again x3 show me what I said offends God plus the saints please..
@Christian Soldier said..
Yes, you took what Peter said in his epistle to the Apostles, and applied it to unbelievers
RJ, said...prove it applies to the Born Again and saints, using said scripture...that is what I asked of you, so please, don’t put words into my mouth.
@Christian Soldier said. I'm not sure why you tried to cast pearls before swine, but I can tell you that it is offensive to God and to His Saints.
RJ, is saying..I must hear the words of the Lord...not what you jot down, from your own understanding, it’s extremely confusing ..said with respect sorry, I just can’t find a better way of explaining to you.
That’s all I’m asking.thank you...instead of you voicing your opinion..thank you.
What i said, Brother is...we are called to love our neighbour, the whole world has neighbours, ..who opens our heart to love our neighbour, that all I said..the Holy Spirit enables me to love my friend, that’s what I’m trying to explain. The Church is bitterly divided into 47,300 Denominations and rising. I can't have fellowship with those who claim to be Christians, while denying what God said, and twisting scriptures to make them say something different.
God calls this kind of fellowship "spiritual fornication", He asks "what fellowship can the light have with darkness".
Please don't think that I'm accusing you of heresy or apostasy, as you have never rejected any bible doctrine when it is presented. You have actually embraced, those hard ones which most Christians reject and hate. So I'm very encouraged by you humility and honesty.
A Saint behaves as a Saint, because God has given them a new Spirit, who leads them into all righteousness. We don't follow the rules, reluctantly or out of fear of punishment if we break them. We behave that way because we believe it's the right way to behave and we do so with a thankful heart. And we are glad to obey the gospel, because we know Gods ways are infinitely better than ours.
From memory, we were discussing Gods love and you cited;
2 Peer 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
You said something to the effect of, God loves those outside of Christ and you cited the above verse in support of your claim. I simply pointed out that the verse is not saying that at all, but it was directed at believers, to encourage them.
In this verse, Peter is responding to false teachers who mocked Christians in the early church. The teachers claimed that Christ was not coming, and that it had been too long. Peter's point is that God is not bound by human time, and that he keeps his promises at the perfect time. Christians should view delays in Christ's return as evidence of God's patience, and not as a sign of tardiness.
We need to identify who the "us" is in "long suffering to us-ward". This letter of Peters was not sent to the Church, so the Ministers could go out and tell unbelievers that God is patient towards them and He will save them in the end so they can keep sinning for the time being. No, it was given to born again believers so they don't get depressed by the mockers.
I have never found a single verse in the bible which could be interpreted as "God loving" those outside of Christ. We don't know who the elect of God are, so we ae commanded to love everyone. But God knows who they are, and He loves them before they are converted and He works in their lives to bring them to repentance and faith.
Why did God say, to shake off the dust from our feet when we are out door knocking in our outreach ministry. When we knock on someone's door and share the gospel with them and they reject it. We leave them dead in their sin, we don't lie to them and give them false hope by saying "Jesus loves you". We don't know who Jesus loves and who He hates.Look below ,when Gods word is posted...instead of men’s/ woman’s opinions.
His words are so easy to understand aren’t they, our words are so confusing...your words above with respect are full of condemnation.who you are “ assuming” don’t embrace the Gospels...please don’t assume of what you yourself don’t know...only God can see into the heart of “ all” men/ woman.
Who ever aren’t embracing the Gospels...then that’s between them and God...also remember ,you too used to be a sinner..show some compassion please.
King James Version
2 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.
We can't follow the bible, word for word like it was an instruction manual. Bible verses need to be unpacked, and they must not contradict or say something different about the particular subject or doctrine. Every verse must line up precisely with what the rest of the bible says.Would you say, that some follow the Bible word for word in their own understanding ?
Yet in their hearts don’t know the Spirit Of God!
I have from day one, relied 100% on God to open scripture up to my understanding, by way of divine heart revelation. We can't follow the bible, word for word like it was an instruction manual. Bible verses need to be unpacked, and they must not contradict or say something different about the particular subject or doctrine. Every verse must line up precisely with what the rest of the bible says.
No word or verse or passage should ever be taken in isolation. We must cross-reference every other scripture in the bible, which deal with the given subject or question. This is why God appoints Shepherds to teach dumb Sheep like me, it's foolish for dumb Sheep like me to take the law into my own hands.
My Shepherd is accountable before God for my spiritual health, if he teaches me false doctrine, then my blood will be on his hands and he sure doesn't want that. Our Church Minister dedicates most of his time to studying the bible and preparing sermons and bible study, he is a full time minister so he doesn't need to worry about any job or business, as these things would distract him.
I can't be expected to know anywhere near as much about the bible, as my Minister as I don't have the time due to my work. The bible shapes our mind and understanding, everyone has had the same gospel for the past 2000 years. There is nothing new to discover, we're all learning the exact same things which every generation learned for the past 2000 years. There is only one gospel message and one truth, so it's not a case of "I believe this and you believe that", so we will agree to disagree. That's what the ecumenical movement is all about, I hope you're not tempted to join them.
but you reject that and claim that your FAITH in Him is the way to the Father.
