After reading this thread, He might change His mind about wanting to save us...Does God want to save Christians too? Or is that mission impossible?

He did repent of making man on earth before, He can do it again! After reading this thread, He might change His mind about wanting to save us...
Wow. I guess there is salvation in repentance. But...He did repent of making man on earth before, He can do it again!![]()
That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God,
who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe. - 1 Timothy 4:10 NIV
So, this says: God is the Savior of all people, and... that will include "believers". Very good news.
His salvation of all will include "believers". As a subset of all.
So, why are believers so hard to save? They are trapped in a religious mindset. IMHO
We can’t be saved by this or that church can we?Come on, do you really believe that EVERYONE who calls themselves "Christian" will be saved?
Will you be saved because you belong to this or that church? Or by your stellar works portfolio?
Get real!
Agree or disagree?
Let's discuss. Thanks.
@Patrick1966
He did indeed he wiped them all out, did he not...apart from Noah and his ark full.He did repent of making man on earth before, He can do it again!![]()
"Wow. I guess there is salvation in repentance. But..." Let's hope God WILL find faith on earth when He returns :)Wow. I guess there is salvation in repentance. But...
(help me, I need a good punchline here)
good thing he said he would never do what he did again. He did repent of making man on earth before, He can do it again!![]()
Such a great response!"Wow. I guess there is salvation in repentance. But..." Let's hope God WILL find faith on earth when He returns :)
I suppose I should have put the word "believers" in quotes. Why are believers so hard to save?
Aren’t they already saved, if they are believers and Born Again.?
Am I’m missing something here @St. SteVen ?
I’m pretty dim to be honest, when understanding certain words.
Right. We can’t be saved by this or that church can we?
Only God can save us from eternal damnation..by birthing us in the Spirit.
Wow.Just my thoughts Brother.
QUESTION: Why did the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers STILL exist (mentioned in Genesis chapter 2:14) after a global flood? He did indeed he wiped them all out, did he not...apart from Noah and his ark full.
I hope I’m on the right wavelength @Nancy ..LOL.
That’s over my knowledge or understanding at the moment, Brother....I will pray about that question..or maybe let’s cheat.QUESTION: Why did the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers STILL exist (mentioned in Genesis chapter 2:14) after a global flood?
I don’t believe a Born Again can stay trapped in a religious mindset to be honest.......for a while maybe...just my thoughts.I suppose I should have put the word "believers" in quotes.
My answer in the OP was:
"They are trapped in a religious mindset. IMHO"
The questions is whether these "believers" (self-claimed?) who are
trapped in a religious mindset are actually saved. ???
We could probably agree that SOME are, but probably not ALL.
Not that we can judge, but you know what I mean.
Ok.Right.
(but I don't agree with eternal damnation) I'm a UR proponent. U can B UR 2 - LOL
Wow.
My day was MADE twice today.
I'm having an awesome day! Hope U R 2
Warms my heart to be called "brother". Thanks.
where they the same rivers?QUESTION: Why did the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers STILL exist (mentioned in Genesis chapter 2:14) after a global flood?

Tell me the answer?..LOL
Thanks...understood.St. SteVen said:

LOL
Honestly, I don't know the answer.
But it begs the question about whether the flood was actually global, or only local.
There is however, plenty of other evidence that points to a global flood.
Like shark teeth fossils in the desert. ??? Sedimentary rock formations. ???
That's interesting. I think I have met some.I don’t believe a Born Again can stay trapped in a religious mindset to be honest.......for a while maybe...just my thoughts.
From my own understanding, the Holy Spirit is in us,..therefore we have a living relationship with God.That's interesting. I think I have met some.
What is it about "a Born Again" believer that would prevent them from staying trapped in a religious mindset?
We might differ in our definition of what a religious mindset is?
How would you know they are Born Again?...no more than you could possibly know that I’m Born Again..only God knows that.I see lots of "Born Again" believers kneeling at the altars of the false gods of apologetics and Bibliolatry.
Wouldn't you consider that to be a religious mindset?
That’s religious thinking is it not? Many others trot off to church regularly (as do I) and think that saves them somehow. (not as I do)
They believe that if they left the church, they would be damned for not "enduring to the end."
It aint humble to go after those who remind us of the DIRE NEED TO BELIEVE ON JESUS CHRIST epi .To seek is good. To humbly seek is better. :)
