[Gal 2:7 KJV] 7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as [the gospel] of the circumcision [was] unto Peter;..........................if they are called different gospels they are different
Read what Jesus and Peter preached and read what Paul writes and see if they say the same thing
What did Paul mean by "gospel to the Gentiles" and "gospel to the Circumcision?" Does he refer to two different gospels? Not at all.
Galatians 2:7-8 7 But on the contrary, seeing that I had been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter
had been to the circumcised 8 (for He who
effectually worked for Peter in
his apostleship to the circumcised
effectually worked for me also to the Gentiles),
In verse 8, Paul compares his role as an apostle to the Gentiles with Peter's role as an apostle to the circumcised. This comparison aids in our understanding of verse 7. Both Paul and Peter preached the same gospel, but they addressed two different groups of people: Paul focused on the Gentiles, while Peter ministered to the circumcised. This comparison strengthens Paul's argument by illustrating that those who ministered to the Gentiles were unified with those who ministered to the circumcised through a common Gospel: One Spirit, One Lord, One Baptism.
