What pray tell are "real Americans"? Are they the ones who added the words "under God" to the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag back in 1954? [I remember having to change the way I recited in school each morning.] Or are they the ones who died on battlefields for what they believed? Or are they the ones who are allowed under law to support Nazism or Islam or Christianity?

I hope you are correct. I for one, who love football, have lost all interest in the NFL. In other words it is not like I have to struggle with watching a game or not. Watching them play now makes me sick. I have no desire. They have ruined it for me.

Yeah, the connection is ridiculous: Police brutality vs. the flag? ...There is no connection!
As for police brutality, I would venture to say that the statistics don't even support their actions. I mean, if more blacks get stopped or go to prison, it is probably because more blacks are poor. So, who you going to protest to? Whose really to blame? I go to my bank (where the money is) and 9 out of 10 employees are people of color. I go to the airport, and whites are the minority. I turn on the radio or the TV and it's all of the above. And for the most part everyone gets along just fine.
As I have said many times - No, we don't have a racial problem here, my generation kicked that - we love everybody. What we have here is a firestorm created by the worst of political lowlifes. The American people have been duped. And now we have a choice of being a part of the problem, or part of the solution: Be honest about who it is that is actually spreading hate, and quit supporting them.

These who disrespect the national anthem and the flag, are of the same people who will not allow the other side peaceful protests against them. They go out of their way, by violence, to stop anyone protesting against them or anything that they deem wrong.
Make no mistake that this is a race issue. And blacks are using their positions in the NFL to further their race agenda.

I'll bite...is race the source of the NFL hysteria? Or is race being used as a football in the political game?
My only concern is for what believers or would be believers should do. I am so out of the loop especially when it comes to sports, I had to ask my wife's assistance to understand what had instigated a situation that bothered anyone in the first place.

And in a lot of instances, quite afraid of putting a 'foot' wrong....So much for 'Democracy', although we were duped all along. Our western civilization did NOT introduce what was originally called democracy, as it meant that ALL the sections of society would be represented, and all people serve at some point or other....Perhaps not doable in our oh so enlightened societies..?
Democracy is not what some people would expected or hoped for. The minority protections supposedly guaranteed by the US Constitution and its first 10 Amendments has been circumvented. The three parts of government that were intended to act as checks on the power of one another would not be recognizable as such by the original planners. The end is not yet, but no man can stop its demise.

No, but it saddens me that we are still being fooled by clever speech writers and corrupt as all dung politicians....I guess they forgot, they were supposed to be 'Public servants' ?

Most of them learned early in the game how to get most for themselves while anchoring themselves securely to a good source of money. Man is basically selfish and no laws he can pass will remove that from him. His only real recourse is God, but most people are looking in the wrong direction.

Absolutely......We have no idea just how 'filthy' we actually are, until we get a glimpse of His purity, and NOT just politicians, sadly ! Ahh yes....The love of money....
well what these ding dongs don't get, when I was stationed in Germany in the late 70's it was understood that there was no such thing as police brutality there, hence no citizen had legal recourse for police using any of what would seem unnecessary force. they could beat you to a pulp if they pleased, wasn't anything you could do about it. note there's very few if any crazy crimes in Germany.
and that is the difference whereas there is legal recourse for such police behavior under the Red White and Blue.
Not much of what President Trump says ought to be taken seriously. He says something and then contradicts it when it pleases him. Besides, those tickets people buy to see those players play, are there not Federal sales taxes on them?
I agree wholeheartedly on that one. But we have to be "nice people" and not offend anybody. Well I went to Info Cult with a piece of a group's literature to see if it was of a cultic nature. Their response was rather vague. Then I rememberred that though they are specialists in cults they don't like using the word cults to describe cults as cults because of those who may have been helped by them. So by being politically correct Info Cult is saying they have a specialty world renowned for absolutely nothing. Does this mean that the world now knows that they are specialists of nothing because "cults" are to be referred to as groups instead of cults? I'm guessing that is Info Cult's little secret. Is Info Cult a cult itself due to its political correctness?
