Actually, I have tasted it as well as pig meat in my unbelieving days. I gave them up when I found out my Heavenly Father considers eating such unclean flesh as abominable. He is absolutely disgusted by it.

Lawlessness in this case is the sin of iniquity. it is mixing the things of the world with holiness...and it is mixing covenants. In the end...it is mixture.

Paul is referring to the circumcised Jews trusting in their circumcised flesh. This has nothing to do with the lawless Christians who Yeshua spoke of in Matthew 7:22-23.

The New Covenant has "TORAH" written on the heart. I have nothing to do with the Old Covenant except obedience to the laws in my heart. You have many of the same laws in your heart (the two greatest commandments, nine of the Ten Commandments, etc).

I am not the one living in sin. Yeshua freed me from sin and obedience to the law through the power of the Holy Spirit keeps me from sinning regularly. Those who do NOT obey the law are in chains to sin since they sin daily.


Of course. That is why I desire to obey the law. I hate sin. Sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4). Therefore, I must keep the law to avoid sin. You talk about the law written in your heart, but where is the evidence of the Sabbath written in your heart? Do you obey that law? Do you abstain from eating shellfish? Do you abstain from wearing mixed materials?

I am not and have never been invited to the Jewish Laws...The Letter Kills,
But the Spirit Gives Life...If we are still "under the law" then why did Jesus die?? As far as the Sabbath, our Sabbath rest is not "a certain day of the week" it is ongoing as our final Sabbath rest is Jesus Christ Himself. And we are not to esteem one day... Romans 14:5 Yes the laws etched on our hearts are God's will for our life and to His glory. We (Christians) are to rely on His spirit that is now within and not without any longer, as it was in the OC. A new priesthood always brings in a new Covenant yes?

The writer of Hebrews was simply stating that David’s word of prophecy from Psalm 110, “The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind, ‘You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizadek,” (Vs. 4) not only indicated a coming new, eternal, permanent priesthood but also a new, eternal, permanent covenant to go with it, which we are now blessed to live in through our indwelling Savior, King, and High Priest, Jesus Christ.
Instead of toiling under an old covenant, with curses and blessings and no hope of permanent salvation, you and I are alive in Christ in His New Covenant of grace, which He inaugurated for us as our High Priest through His Own precious New Covenant blood, which He shed at Calvary and, through His resurrection, presented to God in heaven (Hebrews 9: 11-15).
God’s New Covenant law lives within us right now, through Christ, Who is our New Covenant.
Bless your High Priest with praises in His presence today and learn all you can about our glorious, eternal, New Covenant. Hallelujah!

"Ritual" circumcision is not necessary. My flesh and my heart have both been circumcised (my flesh long before my heart).

You didn't answer my question, and my question did not have to do with covenants, but asking if you believe all are saved. Is that what you believe the New Covenant is about? A universal, unconditional saving of everyone? You don't have to debate it, but I would like to know what you believe.

If I'm called a legalist by some on here, does that sound to you like I'm a universalist?

Not only am I not a universalist, but I believe God must be obeyed in order to be saved. Some call this works, for me it's a pleasure.

I was under the impression that most of the Levitical law was to distinguish Israel from the gentiles.

Mixture. You say you obey the law that condemns mixture....but this is a shadow of the real mixtures that offend the truth.

2 Tim. 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. And, let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Look at this...
The Lord knows His own....and we are to depart from iniquity. Those who don't the Lord doesn't "know."

We are not to mix holiness and righteousness. The Sabbath law is about holiness. Anything that is not directly by the Spirit...in holiness...is iniquity...or mixture...therefore lawlessness.

I call obeying God part of my new nature. It is what we do naturally. But that is only by the Holy Spirit IF we have Him.

What is confusing all of us, I believe, is your statements of "unconditional and universal" without explanation. God ALWAYS applies conditions, and NEVER saves universally. So if you mean something else than these errors, please speak up.
