Who’s faith is he referring to?
Both the grace and the faith are gifts of God.
We can receive grace by our own faith at the beginning as a sample of God's goodness. But to get the full measure of grace we will need a greater source of faith...the faith OF Christ.
Jesus said that even the tiniest amount of faith (NT faith that is) could do miraculous things. This is often confused to mean the same thing as human beliefs and opinions.
But it takes the faith OF Christ to walk as Jesus walked. The full measure of grace can only be walked in by the upgrade in faith...or ...going from faith to Faith.

All the born again. the "body of Christ"....who have become "the Temple of the Holy Spirit".....the "Bride of Christ".

It would probably help if you posted the verse (and the next)...
For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast.
He is clearly referring to the faith of the believing Christian. Notice that the believer is saved through faith (not baptism) and that it is a gift of God. It's not by works: not baptism, not x number of Hail Mary prayers, not by swallowing crackers and sipping wine, not by praying to dead people, not by believing that Mary is "ever virgin", not believing that Peter is the head of the church, etc. etc. etc.
Who’s faith is he referring to?
eph 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
quote “not of yourselves”
so it can’t be you’re faith!
Not quite. Your faith is a gift of God. If I give you a gift, I bought it and I give it to you. So from that time on it's yours.eph 2:8

Who’s faith is he referring to?
Yeah it can! It is THROUGH OUR FAITH. You're not using common sense...
If someone PROMISES to give you something, and you don't have to do anything for it, but just believe, then that... is exactly how God's Grace through Faith on His Promise happens. And the first one God gave the Promise by Faith to was Abraham. And Abraham believed and Abraham's Faith was counted as righteousness...
Gal 3:6-9
6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
KJV
Rom 4:3-6
3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
KJV
Not quite. Your faith is a gift of God. If I give you a gift, I bought it and I give it to you. So from that time on it's yours.
but it says it’s not you’re faith!
So who’s faith is it?
you had faith 2000 years ago?
So you think you’re saved when you first believed?
are you saved?
To what does the "that" in this verse refer?
"That" (τοῦτο) is a neuter demonstrative pronoun. "Faith" (πίστις) is a feminine noun. By the rules of Greek grammar, if "that" referred to faith would be in the feminine case. So, "that" cannot refer to "faith" in this verse. Instead, it refers to the entire opening clause, salvation by grace through faith. Salvation by grace through faith is the gift of God.
It doesn't say what you think it says. So, you have started this whole thread on an incorrect premise.
In exactness the book of Ephesians was written to the holy ones in Ephesus as found in the opening verse Faith. Therefore it would be the faith of those in union with Christ Jesus, as the rest of the verse indicated.
