Which is why there are so many born again Christians in places without scripture? Your statements are all self justified. Good luck with that.
At the end of our current age an angel will preach the Eternal gospel from the midst of heaven, but the Revelation of God in Jesus Christ is through scripture by His choice.
So, why do you resist God if you know Him?
We talked about this earlier in another thread I think. There are tribes that worship idols and peoples of the earth that have never heard of the Messiah. These are the people that Jesus went to preach to in spirit prison. That they might be offered the good news of the gospel and delivered from prison.
And even if you don't believe that Jesus has the keys of hell and death to free people from Hell and Death. Then you must realize what the bible teaches about Baptism and Repentance. There is much involved in salvation. Believing in Jesus the Christ as redeemer, taking the sacrament, etc.
None of that do we have without the bible and it's teachings. So what happens to those peoples of the earth that didn't hear about this good news? Is it still part of salvation for them that died long ago never hearing the good word or receiving the Holy Spirit after confirmation of Baptism?
You make it sound like we need two things - God and the Bible. I'm telling you we need one thing - God.
My point is that we need one thing: God. We don't need two things: God and the Bible. The Bible is very helpful, but God can do the job without the Bible.
And I'm telling you that you will never know anything but the god of your imagination without scripture.

I would disagree with this. And I think most people would agree. Hearing the word from the bible daily steers us back to God and keeps us on the straight and narrow road to salvation. Is God going to do that for you when you can read and feast on the word for that? God will surely bless us with the Holy Spirit when we read the scriptures. And that is part of salvation.

QUESTION BOB MY DEAR DEAR FRIEND . HOW does one KNOW HE is learning FROM GOD and indeed does know GOD .
How many versions of another jesus are out there .
I mean the prosperity gospel evidently preaches another version of JESUS .
If i came to you and said I KNOW GOD , I KNOW JESUS , but you seen me on the news
SHOOTING up and blowing up buildings and killing folks . WOULD YOU not know something was wrong .
WHILE i was claiming i knew JESUS , GOD , even YOU BOB would have to know something is wrong .
SO , WHERE DO WE LEARN our version of JESUS or GOD FROM . THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD .
I mean even you BOB , has to know that there are many hollering his name , yet doing evil and thus EVEN YOU BOB

That many are following another version of GOD , of JESUS . AND THEY DONT KNOW IT .

FEAST ON THAT BIBLE and DO SO DAILY . Devin i was once the worst of the worst . Now dont try and downplay that .
I was once worst of the worst . Not only will GOD bless us when we read and heed the scriptures , WHO DO YOU THINK even puts
that LOVE UPON OUR heart . THE bible is under attack in this age like no other .
But i bring a simple question to all . WHAT DID and DOES GOD DESIRE .
A PEOPLE WHO WOULD WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH .
HE puts the love of truth upon the hearts of the lambs . AND GUESS where we can find the truth . SCRIPTURES . You are right on that one my friend . but make sure we are not following what men are trying to tell us the bible says . cause that too has been very deadly to many as well .
How many folks do you hear that made the claim they BELIEVE in the truth of that bible , ONLY TO FIND OUT
OOPSY they dont seem to be following it very well . as they twist and add to or take from it , and say loudly
THUS SAYETH THE LORD , Learn our understanding for it comes from GOD .
WHEN In truth it has omitted , contradicted Some of things JESUS did teach . I tell us all , MANY are not gonna make it .
AND WHY . Was it because GOD desired the death of the world . OR was it because they rejected THE TRUE JESUS CHRIST .
I say we all better open our bibles and start fresh and anew and very , and i mean very , VERY VERY very AND VERY FAST .

BY THE PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL . As paul once said .
EVEN cornelious who did much good , did so many wonderful and glorious prayers and gave much alms
Had to HEAR SOMETHING in order to be saved . What was it . THE GOSPEL .
And He had to hear it from a man . From peter . GOD has chosen how HE WOULD save the world .
BY the gospel . That all who do hear and believe WOULD be saved . GOD determined this . THUS
let no man try and sway us that the gospel no longer needs to be PREACHED nor BELIEVED IN .
I am making my final and last stand against the lies of men and this all inclusive religion of lies .
I am fully persauded and that by GOD that i will die long before i believe any other religoin can save one
ONLY BY BELIVING IN JESUS can one be saved and we better make sure its the biblical JESUS .
This has already cost me , but it will cost me much more in the days ahead .
But dont you worry nor sorrow for me , no matter how the world or the united religoins do hate me .
YOU just keep on praying that till my last breath , that i point to JESUS , to that gospel and to all things HE did teach or say
and later the apostels did . THIS Man wont sit at the table of false unity made by a harlot .

You overestimate your own. The Revelation of Jesus Christ through the body of scripture is God's Revelation, not that of man.
God could have made the sky pink and the oceans red. That isn't an argument for rebellion and disobedience.
