God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ.
So then you need to see what Jesus Christ said about who is saved.

And the below is not an approval for salvation when men excuse themselves in their conscience to God.
All that means is they like Adam and Eve, in their thoughts, blame someone else for their sins.

12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law 13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; 14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

And getting back to foundational fundamentals, read Ephesians 1.
God will save everyone who is supposed to be saved, and only them.
God determined in His own self all that He would save before the foundation of the world.
And because He did that, you trusted in Christ.
God is perfect and knows everything He will do.

Acts 15
12 Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles. 13 And after they had [c]become silent, James answered, saying, “Men and brethren, listen to me: 14 Simon has declared how God at the first visited the Gentiles to take out of them a people for His name. 15 And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written:

16 ‘After this I will return
And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down;
I will rebuild its ruins,
And I will set it up;
17 So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord,
Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name,
Says the [d]Lord who does all these things.’
18 [e]“Known to God from eternity are all His works. 19 Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God, 20 but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from [f]sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood. 21 For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”

I thought the faithful in Christ immediately go to him in Heaven.
I know this wasn’t addressed to me, but if I may….
Please Read Acts 7:60, about Stephen: he “fell asleep” at his death.
See 1 Corinthians 15:6.

The Bible indicates these ones, referred to as Christ’s “brothers,” (Matthew 25:40) would be called “during the last trumpet” (1 Cor. 15:52)
Didn't Jesus promise such a fate for the faithful?
Certainly….but not immediately at their death.

(If you’re interested, we can discuss this further. In the meantime, please read Jesus’ parable at Matthew 25:31-46. Notice that there’s a difference between the approved sheep [vss.32 & 33], and Christ’s brothers, mentioned in vs.40)

Have a good day.

Let's use an average Muslim woman from Indonesia as an example. She was raised to believe Islam and that all other belief systems are lies. She leads an unremarkable life and doesn't engage in criminal activities and is a loving daughter, wife, and mother. When she dies, will she go to Hell?
If you’re asking if ‘she will be tormented’, No! Never.

Hell (Hebrew, “Sheol”; Greek, “Hades”) has unfortunately been tied to torment. There’s no such thing!

Did you know that the patriarch Jacob said he was going to hell when he died?
Genesis 37:35,
Douay-Rheims Bible
“And all his children being gathered together to comfort their father in his sorrow, he would not receive comfort, but said: I will go down to my son into hell, mourning. And whilst he continued weeping,…”

Best wishes, my cousin.

The thing about hell before Christ ascended, it was the place of all who died. There was also the word sheol used to describe hell.
Hell held the good and the bad in separated compartments. The just went to the good side, and the unjust the bad side.
No one Jesus said has ascended into heaven except He who came down from heaven, meaning his own self. Jesus death and resurrection opened the door into heaven, Jesus is the Door to the Father who is in heaven, and Jesus said we would be with Him, we would go to be with Him where he is, and Jesus is not dead anymore. When Jesus ascended to God in heaven he led the captivity in hell captive, He ascends taking all of them on the good side with him, all the just in hades, none of them were left behind except the wicked in hell. Christ did go and preach in hell to the imprisoned spirits.

Christ also descended into hell-sheol-hades after His death crucified on the cross.

We have a place with Christ in heaven. Do you know our citizenship is in heaven.

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

John 14
1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
2 In My Father’s house are many [a]mansions; if it were not so, [b]I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

John 17:24
“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

2 Corinthians 5, Paul tells us of this place Christ has made for us an eternal habitation in heaven.

For we know that if our earthly [a]house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our [b]habitation which is from heaven, 3 if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. 4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. 5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as [c]a guarantee.

6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

Consider the millennial kingdom of heaven, which occurs after the Second Coming of Jesus. This 1,000 year period will transpire before the Great White Throne Judgment of God, and many who were never taught the gospel of Christ will have the opportunity at that time to either accept Jesus or not.

I don't see that anywhere in scriptures. we have no further opportunity to be forgiven our sins done in the body after we physically die.

Jesus says it this way
John 8:24
Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

and
John 3
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

We can only believe or not believe in this our life in the body to have our sins forgiven us by God, cause after our physical death everyone believes in Christ, that He is who He said he was, but it is too late then to repent, else everyone would be saved, and scripture tells us many are on the path to destruction and will perish in the lake of fire at the end unforgiven.

In His name is preached the forgiveness of sin, but that is for those who have ears to hear the Spirit in this life in the flesh.
And many do not have the ears to hear. They mock Him and choose that which displeases God.

The 'die in your sins' death, and perishing includes the second death and the lake of fire at the end. Jesus taught about an eternal life and an eternal death and that is what scripture is warning people about.

I know of a 16 year old boy that was involved in a violent drug gang and was shot dead by police. It's unfortunate for him that he went down that path and now he's being tortured in Hell by Jesus 24/7. It sucks to be him but those are the breaks.

They say Jesus "preached to the spirits in prison".

If Christ offered you the opportunity, would you go to Hell to preach the Gospel to that young man?

Noah's time, he preached to those who died during Noah's flood.
It is interesting as to why, and it also can mean hell is compartmented.
Hell is not all just one big place. It seems to have an ordered arrangement.
There is the lowest hell mentioned in scripture, so it has levels.

There also exists a 'bottomless pit' .

Of course, but Scott says that it's too late to repent and be saved after death. Besides, that's what 99% of Christianity believe and if so many people believe it then it MUST be true, right?

Is there something like a visiting room where you and I can go into Hell to help Jesus torture the bad people? I know a few folks that I hope are there so that I can exact my revenge!
