Let's use an average Muslim woman from Indonesia as an example. She was raised to believe Islam and that all other belief systems are lies. She leads an unremarkable life and doesn't engage in criminal activities and is a loving daughter, wife, and mother. When she dies, will she go to Hell?
Based on scripture, she is definitely a candidate for rejection into the Kingdom of God.

We do not know what is happening to a person just before he or she dies. I believe God gives each person a choice to either recieve or reject him, but we are not privy to it.

Based on God's love toward all mankind. We will never know until we get there...
Romans 9: 15 For He tells Moses: I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy,
and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16 So then it does not depend on human will or effort but on God who shows mercy.

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9

May I play defense lawyer for the accused?

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9
English Standard Version
8 in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from[a] the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

The woman believes in God, just not the part about believing that Jesus was her savior. Nevertheless, she did (let's say) essentially "obey" his gospel.

Was Paul referring to the type of person mentioned in this example when he wrote the above verses?

You cannot believe in God without having Jesus as his son. If you believe in a god who does not have Jesus Christ as his son, then you worship an idol.

I also want to point out that the woman in the OP scenario will probably go to Hell anyway. As muslim she will support violence towards others, raise her son to be a misogynistic homophobe who wages war against "infidels", teach her daughter to be a punching bag, poison dogs and rat her family members who "sin" out to the government.

Sorry, didn't read the whole thing and I responded to one section without looking at the rest.

Might sound repetitive to my last reply, but the Gospel is mainly that Jesus is the son of God and savior of mankind. If she did not accept that, then she did not obey the Gospel.

Yes.

I may be wrong, but I think in this scenario Jesus would meet the Muslim woman and she would immediately love and follow him and be taken into Heaven.

Of course, there is also the doctrine that people must choose to follow Jesus while they're still living and, if that's the case, then perhaps the woman would be sent to Hell. What do you believe?

Hey, I warned you I don't beat around the bush.

You understand the meme, right? Initially Alonzo (guy in the meme) is silently thinking to himself and is shaking his head about whatever it is he's thinking and then suddenly has an epiphany and then begins nodding in agreement.

I was sort of expressing agreement with you but in a humorous way.

Jesus met many people and performed miracles in front of them and they still rejected and crucified him.

You only have your lifetime to choose to believe in Jesus or not, otherwise Hell wouldn't exist because people would believe on the way down there.

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
" Can you also say how any respectable, law abiding, charity giving, kind person fits into that requirement? "
Please answer this part of my post.

How could that be an "average Muslim woman"?
Average average Muslim women don't "believe Islam and that all other belief systems are lies."

Isn't there a provision for that in Matthew 25:34-36 and Romans 2:14-16 ?

Matthew 25:34-36 NIV
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Romans 2:14-16 NIV
(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.) 16 This will take place on the day when God judges people’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.

God is within all of us.

Actually, Jesus said that if you are not born again you are "Of YOUR Father, the DEVIL and the lusts of YOUR FATHER, you shall do".

So, the "god" that is in that one, is not The Father of Jesus., so THAT ONE, is not going to Heaven, currently.

How to change directions?

Jesus said.....>"You MUST be BORN AGAIN"...... of HIS Father... and that is not based on water baptism, but its "by my SPIRIT, sayeth the Lord"..

Christianity is a RELIGION…
Judaism is a RELIGION.
Islam is a RELIGION.
Hinduism is a RELIGION.
Buddhism is a RELIGION.

Every RELIGION has “members” who agree and disagree with the said RELIGIONS “doctrines”.

A “RELIGION” merely gives “other men” an “indication” of the members “beliefs”.

God does NOT MAKE a man WHOLE (ie. save mens souls, quicken mens spirits, glorify their body)….BASED on a individuals RELIGION “membership”.

God DOES MAKE men WHOLE, based on their TRUE Hearts Belief …(of which that TRUE hearts Belief….”IS” the natural spirit of manKIND).

Glory to God,

I wish that you would provide scripture when making doctrinal statements.
