When it comes to SRA/MK, those "generalistic signs" are the same as with very traumatic abuse of other sorts, but on steroids. There will also be other, more telling and more specific signs. Lists such as what I posted in my thread are for confirmation only, for ones who the Lord has already begun revealing their histories to them. There are some "signs" that may simply point to regular abuse or trauma ... but when combined with many other indicators, it can help validate survivors. Survivors of ritual abuse will not have just a few of those indicators ...they will usually identify with over 50% of the listed indicators.

I believe that you should.
I also believe that people who go through terrible things are meant to help people in dark places, but on the flip side of the coin, I think a person with that much responsibility would need to be careful, because there is also a great danger for those who are naive and vulnerable or with mental disabilities, that might be taken into a darker road they're not meant to be on. Especially risky on the internet when you don't know what a person's weaknesses are.
It would be horrible if someone with autism or paranoid schizophrenia, for example, was unintentionally taken down in a delusion that made their life even more crippling.
Thankfully, that's why the Lord has to be at the helm, @FluffyYellowDuck. In fact, when you came to me, I listened and validated. I answered questions and haven't bombarded you, or pressured you to keep writing or sharing more. It isn't up to me to convince anyone. It isn't my work ....it is the Lord's.

God reveals truth, and when He does He is revealing Himself.
John 14:6 NKJV — Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
He refuses to touch anything that is not the truth. He reveals...and any experienced minister understands that
. Not one person on this forum (or anywhere) has been chased down and :
"Told" they are DID, and it's not going to happen in the future.

There are a number of people in my life God has identified as coming from traumatized, ritualistic, programmed backgrounds...several on this forum. Not one has ever been contacted by me and they won't be, though I know who they are. If ZHe gives me that kind of revelation about someone, its not my job to figure out how to minister to that need. He shows me what to pray for, for their sake. If He ever wants anything more from me than prayer, He can ( and does) make the introduction.

People cannot be healed of horrific abuses until they know the truth about them. HE has to reveal it...it would be horrible for a man to try, not knowing how it would be received. God knows when a heart is prepared to receive the truth, and what form it should be expressed in.

I was trying to say that it must be the Lord that reveals the truth of someone's dissociated past. No man knows what the hidden memories contain but God. Survivors have always had very personal, revealing encounters with God before He ever introduces me to them...to walk with them along their journey.

Yes, I believe things should be dealt with - I just also believe that there is a serious risk of putting the wrong susceptible person, including those with mental disabilities, in harms way.
But that's also why I'm leaving CB for a while. I'm gonna stay clear out of stuff and just let things happen.
I'm tired and I care, but I'm not meant to be here.

You are too concerned with having friends and often entertain wordly things .
Make time and please get into the bible my dear sister . With the help of the HOLY GHOST
it will transform your mind , JUST like it did mine . Yes i was one of the worst of the worst .
But God sent grace , put me into tons of bible reading daily and the Spirit transformed my mind .
Think like this . Often folks make all the time to do these wordly things they love
and yet make little to no time for God . But God can transform that heart , to make us LOVE the things of GOD
and die to the things of this world . SO i am only trying to help you . Make an all out effort
to spend a lot of time in prayer and reading the bible . And i will be praying for you my dear sister .

Be ware of those who force themselves on you. Especially in PM where there is no accountability. "I'm God's minister of this or that!....listen to me!" Pfft...run from that one like a turpentined cat...I've never seen any fruit from that but shipwrecks.

The lesson from Children’s Stories is not that “bad things happen”. I can assure Ziggy as a foster parent that too many children know more about evil than any ADULT has a right to know. One of the lessons they teach you in foster parent training is that many of these “little ones” have survived events that most adults would not have survived.
The lesson from Snow White is that EVIL can be defeated. The lesson in the Lion King is that people can recover from mistakes and be restored to their destiny. The lesson from Cinderella is that evil circumstances do not fix your destiny. The lesson from Beauty and the Beast is that Love grows from who you are on the inside.
These are all lessons that teach Children (and remind adults) that GOOD can triumph over EVIL, even in a fallen world. Do not allow others to steal a message of HOPE in the name of Legalistic Purity.
