All of the above. Much of true christianity is watered down with a watered down gospel. The dividing line as it were, is blurred for some. Not for others. Our job is to bring people to Jesus, not let them sit where they are. We are called to expose false teaching....Eph 5:11.With all this information out there how can we have Christians claiming Cult members are Christian?
I believe it is because they:
1. Do not want to offend anyone
2. Are lacking in Bible knowledge
3. Do not study the Bible
4. And simply do not see the harm

It is called apostasy.Yes, all the above. What I'm also seeing a lot is the acceptance of the not so obvious sects as "just another denomination", especially with Roman Catholicism. Sadly I see this with people who profess to be born again believers who should be able to tell the truth from a lie.

Whatever the background we really do need to get into the Word to figure what's what.Yes, all the above. Much more attention needs to be paid to interpretation. I do like the classic example of how not to interpret the Bible: "And Judas went and hanged himself." "Go thou and do likewise..."
Not heard that one..."Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, for all the fat belongs to the Lord."
Not heard that one...
