Eventually, Trump Derangement Syndrome seriously degrades cognitive abilities.

And Paula White, Trump's spiritual adviser, says just because you're getting a break on some of your bills that doesn't mean you should stop giving money to her (at the 1:10:30 mark).

Christian televangelist Kenneth Copeland tells his followers that even if they lost their jobs during the pandemic "Don't you stop tithing!"

Right Wing Watch on Twitter
Paula White had a similar message, urging people to send her money. “Don’t forget, now is not the time to abandon your covenant with God. It’s a time that you go deeper. Stand with your pastor.” Send her money -- $91 would be nice since Psalm 91 talks about being delivered from pestilence and plague.

And Perry Stone said it was no coincidence that states that oppose Trump are the hardest hit by the coronavirus.

HAH, beat ya to it! ;)

Oh wait, that's her saying the same thing on a different day. It's almost like her daily message is to give her money!

Ah, so you did.:) She is always asking for money. She may be hurting for money since a lot of black people who attended her church in Florida quit when she started supporting Trump.

That is not TDS.

Here's the definition, and some examples of the way it causes loss of cognitive function:
Trump Derangment Syndrome: (n)
1. The delusion that leads people to believe Donald Trump when he lies.
2. Flaming narcissism such as exhibited by Donald Trump.

Which is even worse than COVID-19 since it rots the brain and brings about insanity.
Yes, initially in a mild form...
(Trump forgets to sign order at a signing ceremony)

(Trump gets off plane and wanders off away from his waiting limo)

(Trump is unable to figure out how to get an open umbrella into an airplane)

Later, it gets into screaming paranoia and delusions of grandeur:
Trump says he can do whatever he wants:

'Article 2' Trends After Trump Falsely Claims It Grants Him Unlimited Powers As President: I Can 'Do Whatever I Want'
"Article 2" trends after Trump falsely claims it grants him unlimited powers as president: I can "do whatever I want"

And it's highly contagious. Just look at all the Trumpers . They were reduced to supporting an incompetent, corrupt, senile, confused, person named Donald Trump to become the leader of the free world. And even people like Lindsey Graham who called him a race-baiting kook, were forced to grovel when they caught Trump derangement syndrome. Sad.

She doesn't just support Trump, she works in his White House as his spiritual adviser. Birds of a feather, eh?

This is new.

Nearly 40% of those hospitalized with coronavirus are younger than 54: CDC

As many spring breakers are still seen ignoring social distancing on the beaches of Florida, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is saying more younger people than initially thought are getting seriously ill due to the novel coronavirus.

Data released Wednesday night by the CDC shows that of the 508 patients known to have been hospitalized in the U.S. for COVID-19, about 20% of those were ages 20 to 44 and another 18% were between the ages of 45 and 54.

Wow. Even if you're not in the high-risk category, there's still a good chance that if you get it you'll end up being hospitalized. :(

Give me the full quote for context, not just saying "I can do whatever I want"

I've been thinking about this.

Right now a great many churches are closed. Our potluck is cancelled, naturally!

What might happen if in a couple of months things settle down, maybe a few weeks if these drugs start to work, new cases diminish but don't disappear, the virus mutates to a less deadly form, and perhaps . . .

The powers that be announce, "Private gathering up to 25 people are OK so long as no one is tested positive, or shows symptoms."

The house church movement will be reborn overnight, and the true believers who are starving for fellowship will gather into small groups. Will the Holy Spirit move? I think so.

In Romans 5, God teaches us . . .

We rejoice in tribulation, knowing that tribulation works patience, and patience experience, and experience hope.

Tribulation is the afflictions and hardships in our lives.
Patience is to endure through them.
Experience here is talking about the evidence of our lives up to now. We know what He has done, and when this is over, we will have seen how He loves us.
Hope is the expected outcome that we believe in, our resurrection to eternal life with our Creator.

Tribulation works patience in the child of God. It just does. Endurance. We sit here waiting it out as we trust in God.
Endurance works experience, again, it just does. And experience hope.

Many many MANY Chirstians are in tribulation now, and will be over the next number of months.

I'm not looking forward to the hardships, but I'm excited looking forward to what God will do!

Much love!

I've been thinking about this. ...

What would happen if something even MORE SERIOUS should happen. What would you do if you COULDN'T BUY OR SELL? Do you have provisions in your household to get through some number of weeks/months, or would you succumb to ACCEPTING the Mark Of The Beast?

And what about when a quart of wheat costs some $30? Will you be able to afford run away prices? -- Will you be able to survive Global Thermonuclear War?

Perhaps every Christian should consider the guidance ALREADY PROVIDED by JESUS HIMSELF:

Lke 22:35 And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” 36 He said to them, “But now, let him who has a purse take it, and likewise a bag. And let him who has no sword sell his mantle and buy one.

Or not ...

What kind of moron would think a quart of wheat would be $30? Farmers are naturally socially-isolated; they just keep on doing what they are doing. Trucks still run on the road, elevators keep dispensing grain as needed.

The stores are empty because half-wits are buying up everything in sight out of panic, because our feckless president lied to us about the crisis and is now changing his story almost hourly, breeding more panic.

Death rate in the U.S. so far is a bit less than 2% of those infected.
United States Coronavirus: 3,807 Cases and 69 Deaths - Worldometer
This applies to reported cases. We have no idea how many people have actually been infected, so I suspect that number should be less than one percent death rate. In China, it looks like the death rate has been less than one percent if they are reporting the numbers truthfully.

But what does it matter? The only thing that really matters is that it's all Trump's fault.

Yes, it is likely a very small mortality rate.
