keep hearing how “Coronavirus” has been around, and is even listed on the back of a Lysol can. It helped my confusion to hear someone explain it as possibly someone was sick with a Coronavirus which causes common cold but then in the wet market was exposed to a virus from an animal(bite, saliva, however)...then the two viruses merged (married) and created an off-spring: Covid-19. I don’t understand vaccines very well but it seems if they had made a vaccine for the Coronavirus BEFORE the off-spring...that which makes it so deadly from the wet market breeding the vaccine would do nothing to prevent? But instead we would have a vaccine for the common cold. Not Covid-19.

If I don’t die from Covid-19...I’ll die from an over heightened fear of every “run! the sky is falling!” to where I’m so paralyzed I can’t even function. Is that what He wants or calls for? Paralyzed in fear? Are we not as Christians supposed to be comforting and building each other up in hope, of not doom and conspiracy but “he who fears has not been made perfect in love”. Because I can tell you fear does torment and it does sell...

Was watching the news on the nursing home overtaken by the virus and what is equally frightening is a man said he has no choice but to leave his parent there. And commented how no one would go sit with them in the midst of this for sure. Question. If we are “saved” and have this hope in God then, shouldn’t Christian’s be the least afraid and instead of running and hiding would they not stand in Faith? So what are we saving? How are you telling or instructing the body “in order to save lives”?

BTW, I happen to have a degree in microbiology, and have done graduate work in immunology. And I know a little about what synthetic viruses can be like. Fort Detrick, BTW, was quietly reopened last December.

Well it's definitely serious if you ask the Italians, Iranians, Koreans, French, Chinese, in those countries plenty of people have died from just the coronavirus. This is why certain measures need to be taken to reduce the impact of the virus, like avoiding crowded places.

Personally, I'm waiting for the virus to infect the homeless in S. Calif. It will run rampant, not just the homeless but through entire cities.

Senate GOP Blocks Emergency Paid Sick Leave Bill From Moving Forward

Democrats hoping to pass an emergency paid sick leave bill to deal with the fallout from the coronavirus were stymied by Senate Republicans on Wednesday.

Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) tried to speed the measure up for a vote on the Senate floor through a procedural maneuver, but an objection from Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) prevented the bill from bypassing the Republican-controlled health committee.​

Interestingly, Alexander justified his action by saying the federal government should pay for people's sick leave. Who knew Sen. L. Alexander was a socialist?!

My wife and I (along with another couple) had a southern Caribbean cruise planned for the end of March 2020 (that we booked at the end of last year) but thanks to the coronavirus (and the mayhem that we may have to deal with on the trip because of the coronavirus fear factor) we cancelled our vacation.

We are still going on our cruise at the end of the week....might have less people aboard this time because of the C19-Virus.

We'll see...this could be the last time one is allowed to go on a cruise this year..who knows...APAK

Barr has failed to prosecute those who committed various crimes in connection with taking down Trump, Roger Stone, Michael Flynn, etc. Then Mr. Trump had to fire a whole bunch of people in his administration, replace them, then fire the replacements. Not very good at all, since he already knew that the Establishment was out to get him.

It seems to me he's not managing "sabotage", -- it's potential PANIC in our cities and streets.

I don't know if you've heard the expression: "We're 45 minutes away from anarchy." It doesn't matter what the "circumstance" is, if the masses panic, they will clean out a grocery store; start fist fights at gas pumps; and put a "run" on banks.

And WHY? -- Because people panic.

So if the President manages this medical event properly, there will be sufficient resources to handle the circumstances, and there will be NO PANIC.

Missouri AG Schmitt Files Suit Against Jim Bakker for Selling Fake “Coronavirus Cure”

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Today, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt announced that his office has filed a lawsuit against Jim Bakker and Morningside Church Productions, Inc. for misrepresentations about the effectiveness of “Silver Solution” as a treatment for 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The lawsuit alleges that in a February 12, 2020 Jim Bakker Show production that aired nationwide, Bakker and guest Sherill Sellman, a “naturopathic doctor”, claimed that “Silver Solution" can cure coronavirus.

The broadcast and representations made on Bakker’s website led the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the New York Attorney General’s Office to issue cease and desist letters to the Jim Bakker Show directing Bakker to cease making claims about the product that are not supported by competent and reliable scientific evidence.

The letter from the FDA advises that currently, there are no vaccines, pills, potions or other prescription or over-the-counter products to treat or cure coronavirus disease.

Anyone who has bought “Silver Solution” from the Jim Bakker Show should know that it cannot cure or treat coronavirus.

The lawsuit filed this morning requests a restraining order and permanent injunction ordering Bakker to stop selling Silver Solution as a treatment for coronavirus.​
