Jesus doesn't condemn repetition, He condemns VANITY. Abusing Scripture to attack authentic practices is as vain as one can get, but you don't get it, as you, Pate, and amigo are poisoned by the venom of Alexander Hislop, a proven liar even by Protestant basic precepts.

1 Thess. 5:17 – Paul commands us to pray constantly. Good repetition is different than vain repetition.

Rev. 4:8 – the angels pray day and night without cessation the same words “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty.” This is repetitious prayer that is pleasing to God.

Psalm 136 – in this Psalm, the phrase “For His steadfast love endures forever” is more repetitious than any Catholic prayer, and it is God’s divine Word.

Dan. 3:35-66 – the phrase “Bless the Lord” is similarly offered repeatedly, and mirrors Catholic litanies.

Catholicism is a work of the law. The law requires that you do a lot of religious things. Paul said, "Christ is the end of the law for righteousness for those that believe" Romans 10:4. You apparently believe.

Interesting...since The Hail Mary isn't part of the Catholic Mass. Occasionally, a priest might insert a Hail Mary in a Mass, such as during Mother's Day (for example). But if you heard a priest saying the Hail Mary as a regular part of Mass, he wasn't exactly following the order of the Mass. Plus, it would depend on where in the order of the Mass he was inserting the prayer, and/or, whether he was actually replacing other prayers with the Hail Mary.

Also, many churches will allow for public prayer time prior to or after Mass. My own church has a large Hispanic presence, and many Hispanic people are very devoted to Mary. Hence, The Rosary is usually said (out loud) right before the Mass. It is not something that we are required to participate in.

I agree that some priests will do this. We used to have a priest who a friend and I dubbed as "Speedy Gonzalez." We gave him that name because he 'sped' through the Mass each day. One day I timed him...only took him 22 minutes to get through the entire Mass! Then again, after saying the same prayers day after year, decade after decade, I guess the prayers can become so familiar...kind of like, learnng a song that you really like. You may like the song, learn the words, and take it to heart what the song means to you. After a while, you don't even think about the meaning anymore. But even if you don't always think about the meaning, doesn't necessarily mean, the meaning isn't there.

The thing about Catholicism is that it encompasses other churches besides the Latin Church. What you posted is the version of the Hail Mary that's said within Latin Churches. The Eastern Catholic Church has a similar prayer: "Mother of God and Virgin, rejoice, Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, for thou hast given birth to the Savior of our souls."

No intermediary needed for Protestants.

No, not the priest... the congregation as part of a response... Priest makes a statement and this is the response.

I heard that more then once in in St Patricks RCC church, I heard that in St Benedict the Abbot RCC church a multiple number of times.

Psalm 136 repeats the phrase “for his steadfast love endures forever” twenty-six times in twenty-six verses.

Three with one voice they praised and glorified and blessed God while in the furnace and prayed 31 times “Bless the Lord . . . sing praise to him and highly exalt him forever” (Daniel 3:35-68).

In Revelation 4:8 the angels chant “day and night.”

Also, your theory is not supported by Scripture that Jesus prayed O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt ONCE, got up off his knees, walked over to the Apostles to chastise them, went back and prayed ONCE the same prayer, got up off his knees, went back to the Apostles and chastised them again and then went back to pray the same prayer ONCE!! Now in full disclosure... trying to remember back to the last time... it is possible that the ones in Canonsburg
were funeral services because family for the most part is RC and they for the most part got buried from there
after a funeral mass.

As to St Bens... There too cause I remember mentioning to mom that someone needs to slow them down and put the emphasis on Jesus and not Mary. But I dont know anyone who was buried from there. I was there for
regular services, and 10 first Holy Communions... ( Close friend is very obedient)and 2 baptisms which did not have anything like a mass.

The other Baptism was for my mom's godson at The Spiritan Center, south of the city of Pittsburgh in Bethel Park, and is a ministry of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit.

It is also a retirement center for retired priests.

And again... the service was sa joyously festive one as should be..... And definitely Roman Catholic.

It was leaving there,one day when we went to have a mass said for a family member who was dieing and
I am reasonable certain we met an angel or a messenger of God.

It is an interesting story and someday Ill share.

were funeral services because family for the most part is RC and they for the most part got buried from there
after a funeral mass.

As to St Bens... There too cause I remember mentioning to mom that someone needs to slow them down and put the emphasis on Jesus and not Mary. But I dont know anyone who was buried from there. I was there for
regular services, and 10 first Holy Communions... ( Close friend is very obedient)and 2 baptisms which did not have anything like a mass.

The other Baptism was for my mom's godson at The Spiritan Center, south of the city of Pittsburgh in Bethel Park, and is a ministry of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit.

It is also a retirement center for retired priests.

And again... the service was sa joyously festive one as should be..... And definitely Roman Catholic.

It was leaving there,one day when we went to have a mass said for a family member who was dieing and
I am reasonable certain we met an angel or a messenger of God.

It is an interesting story and someday Ill share.

I think that you were not in a Mass when you heard the Rosary.....That's my best guess!! You were in a Catholic church, but not during Mass.

Also, why do you have a problem with people repeating words from Scripture (the Hail Mary)?

I asked you where in scripture are those words.

And I said Jesus told us to pray to the Father. John 14: 13 And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

And how to pray in Mathew 6: 9 “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name......

No, not the priest... the congregation as part of a response... Priest makes a statement and this is the response.

I heard that more then once in in St Patricks RCC church, I heard that in St Benedict the Abbot RCC church a multiple number of times.

No, not a PA thing. I live in Las Vegas, and ONE priest at my church used to say the Hail Mary at Mass regularly. My mom absoLUTELY hated it! And as I looked around the church, I could see a LOT of parishioners who simply kept their mouths closed during those 15 seconds.

A few years ago, I read some article online (have looked for it since, but haven't found it) that the Vatican issued some document that discouraged priests from saying the Hail Mary during Mass.
