I find this plant disgusting and it tastes really yucky Cilantro (Coriander) is a spice or a herb I will individually pick out from a plate if I taste it. Does anyone else have a problem with it?

I love Cilantro in Mexican food. It gives it a fresh zesty taste.I find this herb disgusting and it tastes really yucky Cilantro (Coriander) is a spice I will individually pick out from a plate if I taste it. Does anyone else have a problem with it?

Cilantro is definitely a staple at our favorite Mexican restaurant.
One of my former coworkers who was of Puerto Rican decent used Cilantro in just about EVERYTHING. That's apparently pretty common around the Carribean islands.

My wife does not like it because it tastes like soap to her. When I eat it, I can't taste it at all.

It's strong and when over used, as it often is, it takes over the flavor of whatever is being eaten. I like it sometimes but in its proper amount so that it compliments the dish rather than ANNIHILATE it.

Yes! I can't stand the taste, tastes like plastic.
