Your exegete of John 3:16 is in error because of you lacking knowledge in understing Bible doctrines and it's interpretations!! The word "whosoever" there can only be understood as the elect and NOT everyone!

Its the Holy Spirit who reveals that you are a sinner, needing a Savior.

If there was no Holy Spirit, then there would be no revealing of Jesus to your heart.


So, where the confusion come in, is you have Calvin's dupes , and similar others....who he has led to believe that the Holy Spirit makes you believe, or chooses you to have to believe.

And that is not the case, as noone is chosen to believe.. because all are OFFERED God's Grace, as Jesus on The Cross.

See, the HS shines the LIGHT of The Gospel... into a darkened Heart that is filled with unbelief, and that unbelief is caused by Satan.

Satan blinds your mind, so that you can't SEE your need of Jesus........until the Holy Spirit REVEALS Jesus into your heart., and then you are enLIGHTened.... by the LIGHT of the Gospel, through the Holy Spirit.

And after a person is saved, then Satan comes and tries to get you caught up in some Cult, like Calvinism, or the "cult of Mary" or JW or Mormonism..... and if that happens then He has ruined your faith., and that is JOB #2... as Job #1 was keeping you from Jesus as an unbeliever all your life so that you would die in your sins, unforgiven, and go to Hell.
