Jesus is the lion of the tribe of Judah and the house of david the king

Lk 1:27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

Lk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

This says nothing about Mary! It describes Joseph's lineage only. As I said earlier, descent was traced through the man's lineage in Biblical times.

Again, where in the Bible does it say that Mary was from the tribe of Judah?

where does the Bible tell you to have a reformation?
Where did the Bible or tradition tell you to reject the teaching of God for the apostate teaching of corrupt popes that sold entrance to heaven to fund the bribes that bought their positions?

Even the Catholics revolted at the abuses and reformed the worst of the apostasy.
The “Protestant Reformers” just forced Rome to clean up the corruption or lose all credibility.
If Rome had repented at the correction of Martin Luther, there would have been no split. Instead the Pope attempted to kill the man God had raised to prick its conscience … like they murdered Huss before him and many after him.

Now is not the time for revisionist history, or you will repeat the same errors. Ask the victims that call for Justice and get pedophile priests shuffled like a shell game to protect the “Mother Church” from financial loss or embarrassment.

The Protestant Reformation was the fault of the Church in Rome, not the Clergymen in France and Germany.

What on earth are you talking about? You are making absolutely no sense!
Made perfect sense. Apparently the concepts are beyond your senses. For those that have ears to hear.;)

And the virgin birth also!
Now let’s get together on the perpetual virginity of Mary???

I do not understand Faith, I believe she was a virgin, in other words had not had sexual relations with a man. You believe that as well, correct?

Great post! I doubt that theefaith will pay attention to it though, since he is clearly brainwashed by the RCC.

theefaith has posted often that Mary is "ever virgin". In other words, he believes that even after the birth of Jesus and His brothers she was still a virgin.

Makes perfect sense to you perhaps, but even the most disturbed person can make the claim that what s/he says makes perfect sense. If you can't explain what you mean, being sarcastic doesn't make you right. It just makes you look foolish.

Aah! Thanks for clarifying that Jim, I did not pick up on that. Nope, Jesus' brothers were conceived naturally as everyone else. But then again I shouldn't say that, I am sure that currently there are many virgin births as many humans have been artificially inseminated. If they were a virgin, they would still be a virgin at birth as long as they still had not had sex. I am sure that they did not artificially inseminate humans in Jesus' day, so through holy spirit he was the first born to a woman who had not had relations with a man.

Mary’s genealogy Lk 3:23-34

Luke 3:23-38, "So Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about thirty years old. He was the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of Heli, the son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Melchi, the son of Jannai, the son of Joseph, the son of Mattathias, the son of Amos, the son of Nahum, the son of Esli, the son of Naggai, the son of Maath, the son of Mattathias, the son of Semein, the son of Josech, the son of Joda, the son of Joanan, the son of Rhesa, the son of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, the son of Neri, the son of Melchi, the son of Addi, the son of Cosam, the son of Elmadam, the son of Er, the son of Joshua, the son of Eliezer, the son of Jorim, the son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Simeon, the son of Judah, the son of Joseph, the son of Jonam, the son of Eliakim, the son of Melea, the son of Menna, the son of Mattatha, the son of Nathan, the son of David, the son of Jesse, the son of Obed, the son of Boaz, the son of Sala, the son of Nahshon, the son of Amminadab, the son of Admin, the son of Arni, the son of Hezron, the son of Perez, the son of Judah, 34 the son of Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham, the son of Terah, the son of Nahor, the son of Serug, the son of Reu, the son of Peleg, the son of Eber, the son of Shelah, the son of Cainan, the son of Arphaxad, the son of Shem, the son of Noah, the son of Lamech, the son of Methuselah, the son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalalel, the son of Kenan, the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God."

Mary is not mentioned anywhere!!! As I have written before, the genealogy of women was very rarely written about in Biblical times. Why can't you accept the truth?

he is not a biological child of Joseph only Mary!

where does it say Mary is of the tribe of Levi?

Are you okay?

I never said that he was a biological child of Joseph. And I never said that Mary is of the tribe of Levi.

Stop making things up.

Luke 1:36 reveals that Mary was a cousin of Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist. John was born of the tribe of Levi per Luke 1:5, his mother (Elizabeth) being born of the sons of Aaron, and John's father being a priest of the course of Abia.

Thus in Mary's genealogy, exists both Levi and Judah, both the priest and king line joined. Mary's lineage from king David came through David's son Nathan, not Solomon.

thats is the question?

Cos o said this:

Acts 4:36
And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,

(Cannot be Mary’s child, Mary was of the tribe of Judah and the royal house of David the king!) Lk 1:32-33

Your repetitive post are really "getting old"!

Don't you think it's possible for two people to have the same first name?

Matthew 13:55, "Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother named Mary? And aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas?"
Acts 4:36-37, " So Joseph, a Levite who was a native of Cyprus, called by the apostles Barnabas (which is translated “son of encouragement”), sold a field that belonged to him and brought the money and placed it at the apostles’ feet."

They are clearly two different people!!! You're twisting Scripture, as usual. Why can't you be honest?

Colossians 4:11a, "And Jesus who is called Justus also sends greetings." Do you think that Justus, mentioned here, is actually Jesus Christ?
