Are we saved by certainty, or by faith? - the mystery of salvation

I’ve never understood saved, unless for me, it’s in the right context.
Born Again= saved from eternal damnation.

We aren’t saved, not until our spirit becomes Born Again.


God gifted me the faith to believe in my spirit, that’s where the Spirit dwells, in our heart/ spirit ,hence,” Born Of The Spirit.

If God gifts you the faith / Born Again, then it’s 100% a certainty...no one on the planet can erase the truth of Gods word from your spirit.

When he witnesses HIS truth by divine heart revelation.to your spirit...you can and will never forget His Living word.
Spirit gives birth to spirit...= a Living heart to heart divine revelation .

Apologetics is about giving reasons WHY we should be confident.

Is "confidence" a synonym for "faith"? (Or at least cotangent with faith?)

Jesus is Salvation. And that is why its Eternal Security, and "not of yourselves, but its the GIFT of God".

The reason you can't Lose your Salvation, is because Jesus is your Salvation, and its completed by HIM, not by you.

See, "THE Gift of Salvation" is Jesus on The Cross, and this SACRIFICE of God's Son, for you, is Your Salvation that you receive, by faith.

You dont do that...... you receive it, as its "THE Gift of Salvation" who is JESUS, your Savior.

He or She who has "ears to hear that"....... here it well, and enter the direction of Hebrews 13:9 that will lead you into "as many as be perfect".

Hi Lambano..I think everyone’s experience of the spiritual rebirth , differs,as we can see on the forum.

We can only trust what we received from the Living God, I believe you and I had a very similar experience mind blowing experience.

Only the Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are Gods children. By divine heart revelation.

How much energy do we expend attempting to promote salvation as a certainty?

Faith is based on hope. Apart from hope their is no faith

Hope is based on certainty. Without certainty their is no hope

So without certainty their is no faith

Without faith there is no salvation

For me, without faith there is no hope.

I had to know God in my spirit, to be able to learn and trust him..took me many years, to finally know that I can trust my God,,100%.. he will NEVER let me down.

He has never let me down, I’ve let him down many a time....

We are told not to trust our experiences. But we are learning that you can't trust anything else.

Hmm. Then you get "experience envy".

"Hey, Lord, how come so-and-so gets better spiritual experiences than I do? If You REALLY loved me, You'd give me experiences like that."

I believe God reveals himself to us, in ways that we understand him..

In other words “ differently “ to all his children..we are all on our own journey with him,imo.

He speaks to one child one way, he speaks to another ,a different way.

Apologetics are a means to engender and build faith, and we ARE saved by means of faith, right?

I am certain of my salvation. The Bible is true and it is from the Bible that I have certainty of my salvation. If I don't have salvation, then the Word of God is a lie.
