Devin, decades ago a Mormon co worker gave me a verse from one of your books that said something like this..."it is true the primitive church baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, but I "(angel)..." command you to change it to Father, Son and Holy Ghost'.

I've been Mormon for years, and then Catholic. I'm still kinda back and forth, but I wouldn't put too much effort into something a Mormon says, even in Church we get a lot of false teachings. Most of us know this and just ignore it. We don't have paid clergy, and it shows unfortunately. But then we all get to preach which is cool :)

Error, the Lord Jesu is without mother and father, nor biological, or spiritual. Mary was only the surrogate, or birth mother to the flesh that he came in. I hope that is not the mother you're speaking of.....

Can you expand on that. I don't totally understand, Cheers :) I serve God and help the poor as much as I can, and that brings me joy and peace. But I do get a good spirit from going to church. I'm watching Catholic mass at the moment, and I enjoy it. But I also watch Mormon church. And I get a good spirit from each.

Yeah that's proof that you have no idea what you're talking about. The scriptures tell us to search for the truth which is in the scriptures as though you're searching for gold or silver. Meditation which includes picturing, speaking, feeling and study which is what we should do when reading the scriptures. Meditation is the Holy Spirit using faculties in man's heart and mind.
Also Jesus never spoke out against looking up scripture to make sure what someone is saying is scripturally supported.

i dont remember Jesus undoing or abolishing a scripture. i remember Jesus teaching on the command of adultery, which was written, and Jesus adding do not even think/fantasize about it. after it was all said and done, adultery was still on the table, the command in itself never changed.
