I simply believe what James has written,

13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
16 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

But we wrestle around with the darkness of the world,

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

I believe Satan was cast out heaven with the death of Christ, and Jesus Christ destroyed the wiles of the devil and his angels in his day in age.

Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— Hebrews 2:14.

So there is no more accuser Revelation 12, and Satan had his demise which before he had power in the ability to accuse people before God because there was law, but because Law was nailed to the cross, Satan can not do anything anymore, especially after all enemies are placed beneath the feet of Christ.

Do we still wrestle around with the darkness of our mind, and to have lust, to have greed, to manipulate and lie? Yes, I do believe so but it all deals with the minds and the darkness of the world itself. Darkness hasn't went away it has always existed, just like evil had existed when God made the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Of course I don't expect people to believe or consider what has been shared, its between you and God. I believe in Jesus, and his total victory over Satan and his angels which they were tossed and done away with in the Lake of fire - Revelation 20:10-14. With Jesus Christ had victory over spiritual death, sin, Satan and his Angels, and it is amazing.

We choose to either alienate ourselves from spiritual things, or go and seek out God and looking for spiritual things.

IF God can be for us, who can be against us? The answer is ourselves. No more blaming the devil or Satan, its all on you and your own hands to decide what you will do with your life between God and yourself.

Revelation is the vision given to John about the future. The whole reason for Jesus' return is to collect those who keep God's commands and the rest will be thrown into the pit of fire with Satan.

I am confused on how you say there are evil spiritual forces but not demons. In my mind they are the same...

They aren’t to me, it’s understandable most people assume that but demons gave people some type of power… that doesn’t exist today, in my mind.

example would be the person who dwelt among the caves and couldn’t be bound.

Either way it goes perhaps I’m just a confused person.

Yes revelation was a historically given message of their future which would bring forth the new heavens and new earth which is the new administration of Christ as King and not the old of the administration of the law which was nailed to Christ cross.

I don’t believe demons exist anymore personally but if you do; don’t look at it as though I have any hatred or ill will toward you.

Cause people have freedom in Christ by the spirit to believe whatever it is they will decide to believe between themselves and God.

My friend believes demons still exist but I believe it’s just spirits of the world - feeding off of others spirits and the spirit of ourselves and what entices us to sin, according to James 1:12-15.

Spirit of lust, spirit of manipulation, spirit of lies, spirit of whatever here.

All lie in the darkness that is absent of light.

Light comes from Christ who revealed truth and leads us to the spirit which renews our mind and what we are told to renew.

“I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

“Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted with evil and he himself tempts no one; but each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin; and sin when it is full-grown brings forth death.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬-‭15‬ ‭RSV‬‬

There are two types of wisdom;

“Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good life let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This wisdom is not such as comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, devilish. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without uncertainty or insincerity. And the harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”
‭‭James‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬-‭18‬ ‭RSV‬‬

The wisdom of the world which is “demon like”, and the wisdom of above which is heavenly.

I don't disagree with what once was the case of demons, the thing is my perspective has changed coming to the victory of the Lord Jesus Christ over all things, which many people do not completely believe is the case. People will look at other people as though they are demonic, especially in the political realm of "Christianity", which I do not believe was Christ calling for people to become political for the sake of his name. I believe we are born with the ability to rebel against God, just as Adam and Eve were created with the ability to rebel, just as Satan was created with the ability to rebel. In the sense of things for me personally, I fall in line with Christ and his victory, over all things and all things have been placed beneath his feet; Satan, his Angels (Demons), Hell/Sheol/Hades, Sin, and Spiritual death. With his victory I simply believe just as in the beginning of Genesis 1:1-2, that darkness still exist, but people make their choice to either dwell in darkness, just as Jesus stated in John 3, and they do so because they enjoy their evil deeds like murders, child molesters, thief's, and it is that which separates light from darkness in my opinion, @TheOneHeLoves.

Have been watching a video game story be played and it also deals with the Salem witch trials. Back in the 1600 that was a big thing, killing people who were determined to be witches or of the devil and witchcraft. People with grudges of others would kill in the name of Christ. I’m glad none of these things happen anymore with the advancement of technology and things like that. It wasn’t fair to those people who were so bent on Satan and the demons and witchcraft. Though today it just seems unrealistic, though there is something more than just the psychical. There is the meta-psychial meaning there is more to this life which involves a spiritual aspect of life itself meaning resurrection like that of Christ having raised from the dead.

Though I do believe fully in the victory of Christ, and Satan and his angels have been done away with all that seems to be left is light and darkness. The darkness of people who can try to kill others by lies and destroy people’s reputation and credibility ability through deception, hate and greed.

God is good, and he had his Son have victory, with the wrath of God being poured out on the nation of Israel and the judgment of the devil, false prophet and beast, that what is wrestled around with is perhaps spiritually dark ways over the spiritually light ways that exist within the realm of God which all enter into by faith by believing there is a God who created this world.

Thus one has to choose what they will believe, being fully responsible for their own life, accountable to God and him alone at the end of life.

This is why it is important to fall into love, love for God first and having love for even your neighbor who may be in the darkness; who needs mercy, in which triumphs over judgment itself. Jesus is the answer to newness of life, and renewing the mind in his total victory over all things (which many do not truly yet believe in).

Just something to truly think about.

May God bless.

I personally believe that the Kingdom of Heaven is the ability to look at anything and see the good in it. Everything that happens is God's will and serves a purpose. If you got a raise, it is a blessing from God, if you didn't, it is a lesson in being happy with little. It is also the ability to recognize that there is no such thing as an evil soul, as all are created in God's image, it is just that some souls have become tangled up by various ideas or wants. It is a universal love. The Kingdom of God is a state of mind and a state of fellowship with other people who have (or seek to have) this same state of mind.

Now, that is not to say that everyone belongs to the Kingdom of God. Most belong to this world, to varying degrees. As long as one is rooted in the world, they are chasing fleeting desires that cannot bring happiness. Addictions never satisfy a person but only grow the more they are indulged in, and result in a downward spiral of despair. Narcissism is never satisfied by praise because what the narcissist wants is to be loved for who they are, not their deeds, but they can't show their true self because they are afraid of being vulnerable, so they seek power over others, which they can never truly have.

The souls fully ensnared by evil, I personally believe, are incapable of seeing the Kingdom of God, and are therefore unable to see the good in anything. They exist in a state of torment brought about by their own solipsism. If one believes that they are the only thing that matters in the universe, then it quickly becomes a very lonely existence, unable to understand others or connect with them or see any higher purpose worth living for. The one who exalts himself will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, and the one who humbles himself will be called greatest.
