Yes, the Trinity declares not that the Father Son and Holy Ghost are separate but that they are distinct from one another.

Each and every time Jesus spoke of himself as being one and the same as God the Father, he was speaking of and to his divine nature.
And there are also scriptures that speak of and to this also because Jesus was, in the beginning. And as such he figures prominently in the Old Testament. As well as the New. 7 Bible verses about Christ's Nature

During the Inquisitions, people did not have as much of an opportunity to possess a Bible as they do today. Under the edict of the Catholic church and for some time, being found with a Bible, as someone not of the elite caste, was a death penalty offense.
But that doesn't speak to those who were burned alive by members of the church. The reason those people were put to the stake, the guillotine, or hanged, depending on what part of the world they were in, is because they did not believe! Roasting people alive before a crowd of pagans commanded to attend the execution and having them watch their neighbor(s) suffer the flame is a great conversion tactic that was perfected by the Roman church!

On a personal observation,speaking for myself as usual, in my years on the Net I've noted, even as a moderator at one time, that it is always a mistake to tolerate atheists in Christian forums.
However, if they must be permitted to attend in the hopes they'll see the light and save their soul by finding Christ by spending time in such forums, so be it. However, they should never ever be allowed into forums wherein Christian theology, or scriptures are being discussed. Let them have their own forum for questions about scripture.
When they're permitted to enter into forums where Christians discuss the Bible, the Troll kind will attack scripture, deny the validity of the truth of Christ and his divinity, etc... And it brings them great joy to do so for as long as allowed. Because while they may know they'll never persuade a Christian to turn against God, their satisfaction is derived apparently from being tolerated in their fallen agenda that intends to cast vulgar missives against God, and his word, and deny the divinity of Christ, which then denies the existence of God.

Jesus and the scribe agree the Most High is one. unfortunately there is no trinity in Judaism so when Jesus and the scribe say "one" they mean a Jewish "one" and not a trinity 3 in 1.

if Jesus was the Most High they would have said Jesus is the Most High, they wouldnt be saying image, Son and all the rest, its more complicated than just "they are one and the same". your using this world logic to explain something not of this world and its never gonna work.

Just to be clear and to correct the error in lack of context there, YOU did not say that nor can you accomplish that. You excerpted from the passage in John 5. John 5:40 yet you refuse to come to Me to have life.

if Jews are wrong about the nature of the Most High, no trinity, why does Jesus agree with the Jews?
I'm not sure I understand your question.
Jesus does not agree that there is no Trinity (see Matthew 28:19).
