It's nonsense, EU tariffs have been slightly lower than US tariffs, just check it out.Why he is doing this is a mystery or it must be that he will hit China the hardest, doubling the tariff from 30% to 60%, at least that is the plan.
Realize a couple of things -
1. There is no "the west" any longer.
2. A break after 80 years.
3. And that is irreversible, too much damage.
In June there will be the NATO Summit 2025 and nobody knows how that will end.
There is a new world order, US vs the rest of the world and especially versus China.

The income tax is primarily a tool of totalitarian regimes to invade people's privacy and security. Many commercials this time of year warn of information we provide to our government being stolen. The danger is not primarily from this illegality but from legal thievery that the income tax is, as it destroys the very concept of property. What do you call it when you take something that does not belong to you?

This topic is the only one I can remember seeing you get so upset and angry about brother. I hope you will truly examine why you are so much in the flesh about this.
By your words, it doesn't seem as though you're considering that God is ruling & reining in this world, but you are setting your heart and hopes on a politician instead. I hope I am wrong. We need to set our sights higher.....and let the Lord show us what HE is doing in our time. This reminds me of the Israelites craving a King in the flesh like the heathen around them had. They were getting nervous and wanted someone more tangible than an invisible God to help them. But if God's people who are called by His name were to do right, wouldn't the Lord turn away judgment for our sakes? Unfortunately I dont' believe that is going to happen on a large scale but at least as individuals who are trusting in Him, the remnant who are looking to Him will be kept and looked after by the Lord when Babylon's idols fall and shatter on the ground. If the times of the Gentiles are over, nobody is going to stop it and those who many are hoping in might even turn out to be the instrument chosen by God to bring it about. The Lord IS ruling & reigning and watching over His word to perform it.
I'm not knowledgeable about the subject of tariffs etc, But unfortunately there is a downside to this. Part of it might be "good" for your nation, but part of it could turn out to be "evil". This tariff war is potentially pushing the nation on your northern border into the arms of the European Union. That idea has been broached. I've just re-read some posts . . . maybe the reason you think I'm angry is because I'm calling out people's poor behavior. When I do that, I often get that response, Why are you so mad? But one doesn't have to be angry to call attention to someone's poor behavior. You can do that anyway.
