That's not the point. An idol doesnt' necessarily ask to be worshiped. Especially in the beginning. God showed me this in a dream, that Trump would be "empowered" by those outside himself.....he was just minding his business until they came along and egged him on, so to speak. The danger is a spiritual one....it starts first with the souls of those who give their worship to the idol and only later to the idol if it goes to his head. I think that is the meaning or one meaning of the ten kings who "give their power" (worship) to the beast.

You reveal some excellent insight. It seems to me at times that Trump was told he was a Christian on the basis of wishful thinking or positive affirmations in the hope that one day they will "prophetically" come to pass. So he believes it. He hasn't been told that to be a Christian one needs to repent and forsake sin and become a new creature... Be norm again... Nor has he been challenged as to what he thinks God's view of his character would be. I know I'm presuming a great deal here, and I don't want to be found judging anyone prematurely... I'm just going on what things Trump himself has declared regarding his own faith, and what I know of the religious leaders that have his ear.
I used to attend churches with such practises, and they are more than ably represented among those now surrounding Trump at his photo opportunities, prayer meetings and breakfasts etc. Trump goes along with it all because, as with any man, it strokes his ego.
But we aren't too hate the man and have no hope for his salvation. As with any man, he, along with all of us, is the focus of God's desires that we should be saved. He needs our prayers... But prayers forged in the spiritual reality of the moment... Not founded on false prophetic Zionist foreign policy centred on futurist Armageddon type policies focusing on Israel and the middle east.

Can't say a disagree with much of that, although I might add that we are all beneficiaries of the mercy and grace of God, and the structural integrity of buildings we are in at any point in time.

I don't doubt whatsoever that Trump will have a massive affect on THE END. But some of the accusations against him don't seem quite fair just because others might consider him the savior. I would like to know what he said about himself. Not what others call him.

I'm not accusing him of anything here, but my concern is for the church, for believers, who are being deceived and being drawn away from the Lord. We are not wrestling with flesh and blood. However I did see a video clip where Trump was responding to reporters somewhere outside and looked up at the sky and said "I am the chosen one." Hard to say whether he really believed that himself at that time or if he was just kind of going along with what his base, the Christian right, were telling him. I think this was near the end of his first term if memory serves.

But I believe he was "chosen" by God because the Lord showed me that before he was first elected.....in the sovereignty of God based on His foreknowledge......Trump was put in the Whitehouse for God's purposes as He is ruling & reigning and bringing things to an end as prophesied, and He showed me near the end of that term that DT would have a second term, which didn't happen right away.....and He showed me a divided America, split in two, sadly. Let's consider the things that have been prophesied about the end, and all those warnings about the kinds of things that will happen. It's not a rosy picture. Remember even Judas was "chosen" too.....God is watching over His word/prophecy to perform it. There is only one way to be kept safe and that has nothing to do with the material realm of this world, it's politics or military or economic might. We need to fasten our seatbelts (armour of God) so that we are prepared and trusting in God and hearing from Him, when things that we have been relying on in this world (Babylon) start to fall apart. Not to be caught off guard and shipwreck our faith because of expecting and believing things will be "great" again. We need to be looking up and have our eyes on the Lord, trusting in Him, not focussing on and fretting about the stormy heaving waves all around.

I too find it amazing that Christians are opposing the most pro-Israel, pro-Christian President ever.

I am not "opposing" Trump and his presidency...........me and others here are opposing what the so-called church, all its false leaders and followers are trying to make of it......which is only drawing the ire of God, not His blessing. He is a jealous God.

Amen. Like some tell people to just open your mouth and babble until you are speaking in tongues. or "Just say a little prayer" and welcome to the club....as if God and His Spirit don't need to be involved in these things in a real way. Yes I think he is being deceived by those false sold out church people around him, and they will have to give account for that and everything that will come of it, but I'm convinced that it's all being incorporated into God's plans and purposes, as hard as it is to watch.
