Of course there are good people in all religions. To your point, being good does not make one acceptable to God.

What is this thread about? Sad that you hijack every thread. Posts you make are the same no matter the thread topic. Every society must have public policy and America chooses it by the popular will of the people as determined by the election result. We are bankrupt and cannot afford more war.

Since Trump has surrounded his presidency with supposed Christian spiritual leaders and given them an office in the White House........any conversation about him and his presidency will involve discussions about his beliefs and those of the ministers who he listens to and has given official positions to. His beliefs and theirs are of the interfaith and prosperity gospel variety which are not in accordance with biblical truth. There is only one way to the Father.....and Jesus said HE is the way....and that way is narrow, and comes with tribulation and chastisements (and if you are without chastisement then are you illegitimate sons).....it's not a way that is paved with gold and ease in this life.

So Trump wants to "make America religious again".....well what religion exactly, the broad way religion?....and will this lead to enFORCING it? Like the Chinese government enforces a state-approved version of Christianity in China and persecutes the true gospel.

What does Biden have to do with this? We're not talking about him....he isn't President, Trump is. My opinion (for what it's worth) on the politics is that Biden led the nation into decline and Trump is trying to reverse the decline. Great if he is able to ...I'm not an expert but I think his tariff war is only going to hurt both our nations and other allies. Not to mention I don't believe America and the west are going to escape God's judgment no matter what gets done politically. You might escape from the bear only to meet a lion (that's bible in case you didn't know). The greatest danger to the church in our day..........is spiritual, not outward circumstances.

Only in Canada. I went to the grocery store today, and prices have come back down. Eggs are less the $3 now. My bill was $25 cheaper than 2 weeks ago. Gas is normal, some things are still high, but I don't buy high priced anything. Start shopping now. I'm not pushing Gov't, but all that was needed was to allow farmers to market their goods.

At the president's news conference today, He said he is matching whatever tariffs other countries are put on the USA. Sounds fair enough. Its reciprocal, if France puts a 10% tariff on US wine. We put 10% on France wine.

Trump is making enemies of the entire world. On one hand, he is running Canada down saying we don't need them or any of their resources, that we can't continue to hold them up... and out the other side of his mouth, he says "they're beautiful people" and we need make them the 51st state?!?!!??? I lived in Fayetteville, then Fairburn in 1993/1994 (right down the road from Evander Holyfield, lol). I don't miss the traffic and constant airplanes flying over. lol

Anyway, I get most of my eggs literally for free. I may buy a couple dozen every other week. Other than that, my chickens are producing an average of 15 eggs a day. It is enough for me, my son, and a friend. I get them free because I use my Tractor Supply card for gas, groceries, etc ...and then I go buy chicken feed with my cash back vouchers. lol

BUT ... good pasture raised organic eggs are $7/dozen. They've gone up ....not down. I don't buy eggs from chickens fed GMO, pesticide-laden feed (and God knows what else).

In Fairburn, off Rivertown Rd., my family raised chickens and had more eggs than we could eat and give away. I guess you could call them range chickens today. Anybody can raise chickens, its simple. I wish I had those 5 acres again.

There are several all over the place. There is and has been a house building boom going on. If there is an empty lot they will build a house. They are buying used homes and tearing them down and building two houses on the lot. It is rare to see a house for sale. Competiton is driving the prices down on some things and raising prices on others. Mainly the price of houses is climbing up even more. It seems everyone is moving here and can't find a place to live.

I am on a carnivore diet, so I usually eat at least 8 eggs a day along with some sort of grass fed beef. I gave away 3 dozen 2 days ago, and still have 3 dozen at my house. lol
