I knew the person who started 'ghosting' (speaking as though you have the voice of another person) - it fulfilled the words of Jesus

Where does Jesus say that the Holy Spirit will speak for us? What bible passage are you thinking of? The nearest I can think of is Paul's words in Romans: “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes...

IS CALLING UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD ONLY FOR ISRAEL ?

But believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and believing that He was delivered for our offences and raised for our justification, are both necessary for all, not just Israel for the first, and Gentiles for the second.

More on the deity of Christ

Jesus Christ is God. He said, "I and my Father are one." Thomas bowed before Him, calling Him, My Lord and my God."

I knew the person who started 'ghosting' (speaking as though you have the voice of another person) - it fulfilled the words of Jesus

I cannot think of any biblical warrant for saying that pretending to be somebody else could possibly be something brought about by the Holy Spirit. Nor can I think of any biblical reference to saved people being able to speak on behalf of other people in heaven.

Is the Bible full of contradictions?

God's mercy is not the same as His holiness. His mercy is shown when He doesn't punish a sinner as his sins deserve.

IS CALLING UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD ONLY FOR ISRAEL ?

But we do read of Gentiles who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ before Acts 10. An example is the centurion whose servant was ill. Jesus said of him: “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” (Mt 8:10 NKJV)

Easter Celebrations are Worship of the Sun

I would say that according to the bible, every Sunday is a resurrection day. The first Christians met together on that day: “Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until...

Do you believe in a passive God?

Yes, I agree. What is the phrase? "Already but not yet," or something similar, referring to the factr that yes, we are already saved, but the full consummation of our salvation does not happen until we get to heaven.

PRAY TO THE LORD GOD AND JESUS TO MAKE ME RICH. SO I CAN COMPELTE MY MISSION!

What mission are you talking about? If you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your saviour, this wonderful promise is yours: “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Php 4:19 NKJV)

Do you believe in a passive God?

Not so. Paul wrote to Christians: “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God,” (Eph 2:8 NKJV)

    God's Just and Merciful Gospel.

How does the view that God does not change contradict the view that He gave a new covenant? Both are taught in the bible: “"For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.” (Mal 3:6 NKJV) “"Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a...

This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I should have noticed the quotation marks. Just out of interest, who were you quoting?

This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Surely Brightfame52 was referring to your words when you said: ""His sacrifice opened the way for all people to be forgiven, reconciled to God, and brought into a new relationship with Him" The bible tells us: “"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.” (Joh...

BEFORE OR AFTER THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD

That's strange - I have just looked again at Post 3, and its writer is you, Doug. Anyway, I apologise for the misunderstanding which somehow has crept in. Yes I agree that it is not an earthly kingdom.

Five scriptures that clearly teach the Death of Christ saves !

How can you say that Romans 5:19 does not align with Scripture? It is Scripture! What other many of the world? Romans 5:19 says: “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.” (Ro 5:19 NKJV) No reference there to any...

BEFORE OR AFTER THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD

Before I reply and make a fool of myself through misunderstanding, may I ask you to say what you meant by "chosen before the foundation of the world to enter the kingdom on earth."? The passage in question, addressed to Christians, doesn't mention a kingdom: “Blessed be the God and Father of...

Infant Baptism is not given in scripture.

But Roman Catholics do call the ceremony "Baptism." I'm not saying they worship Satan, but they don't view the ceremony they perform on babies as merely a naming ceremony. They believe that the baby actually becomes a Christian when they baptize it. Some Anglicans do the same. I was brought...

AN ANALYSIS OF GOD'S MISSION OF SALVATION

Yes, they would refer to God the Father as Lord, and to God the Son as Lord. But they don't say that the Father and the Son are two Gods, not once. You imply that you have 150 scriptures that say there is more than one God. Perhaps you could give a few. I cannot think of a single one.

AN ANALYSIS OF GOD'S MISSION OF SALVATION

OK, here's one from the New Testament: “Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.” (Mr 12:29 NKJV) Yes, a Son who said: “"I and My Father are one."” (Joh 10:30 NKJV) Nowhere in the New Testament do you find Jesus Christ...

AN ANALYSIS OF GOD'S MISSION OF SALVATION

That is what I thought you meant in Post 44. I don't agree that the bible teaches that there are 3 Gods. There are plenty of bible verses which say clearly that there is one God. Here are just a few examples: “So the scribe said to Him, "Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for...
