CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Unless God is speaking to them directly. Jesus is coming to many Muslims and showing Himself to them, not just hearing Him, but seeing Him.

Is it important to keep the Sabbath?

Did you not read that I included Sunday worship, not just Saturday? I do not judge people who believe in the letter of the law, as long as they honor the Spirit of the law more - abiding in Jesus. In fact, I attend with them at a SDA church, and again the following day at a Calvary Chapel, but a...

I know how she feels. I eat them right out of the can. Haven't had them for years.

There is no spiritual gift called "the gift of tongues".

Of course! I'm so happy to see such a mature Christian. Not many people will admit an error. :)

Are you still addressing me? That is bearing false witness, brother. You need to apologize.

I think you are confusing me with someone else. I'm all FOR speaking in tongues, but I do know that praying in tongues and speaking a message in tongues are both speaking in tongues, but one doesn't need interpreting and the other always requires interpretation. They are also spoken about in two...

There is no spiritual gift called "the gift of tongues".

Praying in the Spirit or praying softly in understood language at your seat in church is different from standing up and giving a message in tongues heard by all that an interpretation is required and expected.

Your list is doubling up. There are two manifestations of tongues. Mark 16:16-18 is your 1), 2), 4), and 5). Number 3) is from 1 Corinthians 12:8-10. The difference is only in the direction. Mark 16 has no "interpretation" listed. None is necessary because the tongue is speaking TO God. But 1...

There is no spiritual gift called "the gift of tongues".

Don't you remember when the disciples asked Jesus to show us the Father? John 14 7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” 8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” 9 Jesus said to him...

    Is Jesus God

Col. 2:8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head...

    Is Jesus God

Like you, my two go-to verses are Titus 2:13 " looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, and the other one is 2 Peter 1:1 To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ...

    Questions for Sabbatarians

It is not that the Law of God changed, but where you have those moral laws? Are they in your mind without anything supernatural changing your nature and you keep those moral laws by your willpower. Or are they supernaturally written on your heart, cleansing your sin nature to a nature...

Does anyone else feel new growth of Fruit lately?

Yes, He always has; I'm just feeling it more these days. What I'm saying is He seems to be putting the finishing touches on me, like I'm going to die soon so He's polishing me up!

Am I the only one on the planet who understands Romans 7?

Paul was not the only Jew under the law. All Israel was under the Ten Commandments until Jesus died for us and was resurrected, then launched His Church of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost.
