    Your Soul IS Immortal, Until...

Genesis 3: 8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. I know when I hear His voice I no longer feel alone. I'll read the rest tomorrow. What part...

    Your Soul IS Immortal, Until...

I stand corrected my sweet sister! The big picture? Fellowship from Freewill. I agree in the week of Creation Elohim made only this planet, the sun and moon and everything that would dwell on this earth. Before that He already made the stars and universe, and of course the angels who also had...

    Your Soul IS Immortal, Until...

So instead of an immortal soul, how about His giving us eternal life?

What happens to your soul when you die?

It is interesting that when the body dies, the spirit and soul do not die yet even in an unsaved person. Everyone's consciousness either goes to be with God, or into the outer darkness until the resurrection of the dead.

    Your Soul IS Immortal, Until...

I believe that when God gave Adam the command to not eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil lest you surely die, happened when Adam did eat of it, and the first to die was his nature, his immortal spirit and soul. not just his body, and they being Adam's nature became a sin nature. For...

What Satan Doesn't Want You to Know

What does having a sin nature have to do with reaching others with the Gospel? Paul didn't have a sin nature when he wrote his books. He was born again of the Spirit and free from sin just as he wrote in Romans 6. Start reading Romans 7 at verse 5 and see that Christians are no longer in the...

What Satan Doesn't Want You to Know

And why was the law no longer necessary? Jesus came to free us from sin. Don't you think Jesus would have taken sin out of the cause - the sin nature?

Many Are Called But Few Chosen = Matthew 22;1-10

Were you taught sinlessness, or did you discover it in the New Testament by yourself with God's direction? Do you call it sinless perfection, or just sinlessness.

Many Are Called But Few Chosen = Matthew 22;1-10

I looked at yours again and we are on the same page. I must have misread it thinking you meant that 1 John 1:8 is a Christian when it definitely is not.

Many Are Called But Few Chosen = Matthew 22;1-10

These words are not in most Bibles. Most end with the prior sentence that says, "the first will be last, and the last first." I prefer Bibles with every word that proceeds from the mouth of God! Every Christian came to Christ being called, and out of them some were chosen. "11 And He Himself...

Many Are Called But Few Chosen = Matthew 22;1-10

We've been on the same page except for this one. 1 John 1:8 and 10 is the same type of person as 6. All talk, but lying because they walk in darkness. 1 John 2:4 shows what is going on. "4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."...

Many Are Called But Few Chosen = Matthew 22;1-10

    Amen! These Jesus never knew.

I'm glad you don't believe any of those. I don't either.

What was Jesus going to do, before He became focused on saving us (from sin)?

1 Peter 1:20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you. God wanted fellowship, so: Before God created the first angel perfect. Before God created the earth perfect. Before God created man perfect. God knew that all three would...

What was Jesus going to do, before He became focused on saving us (from sin)?

If Adam and Lucifer didn't sin, then there would be no need for sacrifices.

What was Jesus going to do, before He became focused on saving us (from sin)?

It all goes back to Adam. If Adam had never sinned, and neither had Lucifer, then Jesus would have remained the Word of God and never have become human so He could die.

Many Are Called But Few Chosen = Matthew 22;1-10

Can you give me some examples of what would be new age, and not just doctrines of demons? Sounds interesting.
