    Why do Catholics…

The Word as Moses received was equipped to last inerrant for as long as it needed. The Word the Church received is able to teach it inerrantly, pass it to our Children without corruption. Preach it to thee world and be Guided by God as we follow Jesus until we see Him coming on the clouds...

    Why do Catholics…

hmm. Let's examine that. Luther, He didn't act as one responsible for souls. He didn't follow the teaching or the example of Jesus on this matter.1 Jesus told His disciples to obey the Scribes and Pharisees because they sit in Moses' seat. The seat of authority from God preserves unity and...

    Biblical insights please?

I hope no one minds. From the beginning the worship God accepts involves sacrifice Abel offered Sacrifice. Jewish worship was centered on animal sacrifices . Jesus commands a peretual memorial and meal surrounding His Sacrifice to be done often. Worship of God in the Judeo/Christian Tradition...

    Why do Catholics…

I just want to say. You can't refute what you are unable to see. Truth exposes error by contrast.N o need to be an accuser. The error exprosed may remain hidden from me or may not. Cheers Ferris.

    Why do Catholics…

Well,, it's useless for me to keep trying to communicate to you the truths of my faith if you aren't willing to let go of the false Catholicism you prefer.

    Why do Catholics…

We were discussing the proper use of Scripture. Begins around post 1071

    Why do Catholics…

You are right. But then Jesus didn't teach the whole complete truth. It means that what the Church does know is all true. In addition that inerrancy is necessary or we can't be led to all Truth. You can't build truth on error. The whole thing is corrupted.

    Why do Catholics…

He isn't saying what you think. You hear " all Christians are anointed and taught by the Holy Spirit. You don't need! A teacher because you know truth Thiis isn't addressed to every who calls themselves Christian; unless all Christians believed the same things and members of one Church. He...

    Why do Catholics…

I take it that you don't know why because you think scriptures are for the foundation of Churches. Even though Jesus and the Apostles already did.

    Why do Catholics…

Jesus needs Martin Luther to help keep the gates of hell from prevailing. Lol. Ok Many words, accusations and claims but you forgot to post a reason to believe them.

    Why do Catholics…

I explained how that isn't true. You should read my posts more carefully. What is it that enslaves human life? Sin. Protestant faith depends on error to exist. That dependence obstructs freedom to seek truth. Functional seeking requires the love of truth wherever it's found. Because the...

    Why do Catholics…

Original Word. Not so. The Word of God begins to manifest in the lives of the first humans. The human body makes the Word of God visible on earth. The Word written functions no differently before Christ than after. The Word is lifted up by Christ but Protestants cling to the Word as it was...

    Why do Catholics…

Because the bible is a tool for teaching, correcting, seeking deeper understanding. It's misused if it's a foundation of faith especially without the mechanisms required to guard the faith and maintain unity. Protestantism promotes addition by developing beliefs never believed before and takes...

    Why do Catholics…

That's most of the problem isn't it? Anti-catholicism makes people think they know more than us about our faith. It makes people think Catholicism is shallow and Catholics don't know what they are believing. Protestantism, especially if it lasts centuries, is challenging because of the added...

    Why do Catholics…

You describe flesh that is temporal and earthly. I would recommend a study of Christ's resurrected flesh. It's eternal. It's omnipresent. It's human and Jesus didn't teach to eat His flesh figuratively. That would've been easy to teach, easy to believe. But that wouldn't describe the teaching...

Adam's death in the garden explained.

The reason for the resurrection of the body is the final judgement. Sins are committed while the soul and body are united. So the final judgement happens accordingly. Romans 7 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the...

Who are the sons of God and the daughters of men

A culture built on polygamy is inherently competitive and violent. Human life in a world like that would naturally manifest males that grow larger and more powerful since social status is determined by the physical dominance of males over other males. Also the manifestation of females who seek...

    The Spirit...and All Authority

Authority. Kind of counter intuitive dynamic operating. Humanly speaking.authority is naturally given to parents. Then whoever the parents give authority to, the children will give as well. Teachers clergy etc. Authority is required to form conscience. That authority can be given to whoever...

    Nancy and Her Church

That's just doesn't describe my Church or the Church described in the NT. The Church recorded in the bible; gives the believers what Jesus gave when here. The same divine power giving the same supernatural gifts.. Not to offend but your model seems to fit the false church told about in the...

    Nancy and Her Church

The bias inherent in the world that seeks hierarchical status. Who did the Father prepare to occupy seats on both sides of Christ? One on the right and one on the left of Jesus when He entered His Kingdom? Jesus wasn't exaggerating about what it means to sit in high places in His Kingdom. If...
