Plus carbon dating matched up to them other forms of dating, and the info there matches up with fossil record, and those line up with geological layers and all it lines up with the genetic tree of life. It all supports each other.

Thank yo to everyone who is doing their very best to prove the point of this post. It’s like y’all studied it, and carried it out with precession. It’s amusing in its own way.

You should reach out to climatologist on that. I have a feeling you may not be understanding “global cooling” vs “ global warming” vs “ climate change” and how different areas will experience different changes…. So I think it’s best for me to go ahead and ignore you. Once someone reaches a...

Can you show me where Jesus talked about scientific consensus? Or are you referring to the majority of people seeking fruit of the flesh? I’m certain you’re not so foolish to confuse the difference. But then again, that’s what this posts link was all about.

That’s why it’s important to look at the general consensuses. for example we have almost 99.99% of scientists agreeing on one thing and out of eight million a few thousand disagreeing. When you look at the big picture you don’t have to worry about the oddballs.

Is Acts 9:18 employing the literary technique of hyperbolic speech when reference scales?

In the New Testament we read a weird passage concerning Paul’s eyes. Acts 9:18 18 And immediately something like fish scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight, and he got up and was baptized; Was that literal? Was that no literal? Is there a way to know? The answer is yes, we do...

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

So a caterpillar does not evolve into a butterfly. They go through metamorphosis into a butterfly. But metamorphosis itself is a byproduct of evolution. Same as a seed does not evolve tree. They germinate. But the process of germination is a byproduct of evolution.

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

Perhaps. But the good thing is that now days the overwhelming majority , including kids in elementary school, are already accepting it. They are taught it throughout their whole life. I’m sure you’ve noticed the growing trend. But there are still many who are raised by people who lack the...

They did not need to dispute it because they understood it was a myth. It’s only modern people who don’t understand ancient Jewish literature that struggle with it.
