  1. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

The Genuineness of your Faith - Part 1 1 Peter 1:6-7,”In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found...
  2. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

I was just providing you with a couple examples of conditional statements. To be clear, I certainly don't believe those verses imply that some genuine believers will actually forfeit or "lose their salvation". I'm also guessing that you use the acronym OSNAS as 'Once Saved, Not Always Saved'...
  3. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

I'm not sure if your question was addressed to me, but if so, I'm having a very hard time understanding it. Perhaps if you rephrase it I could give you my perspective.
  4. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

He sure did - here's a couple prime examples : John 15:6, "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. Matthew 24:24, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew...
  5. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

It's simply not logically coherent to claim that a conditional statement does not include a hypothetical component to it. The word "if" is inherently conditional and hypothetical ... it's not an 'either/or' scenario, rather a 'both/and'.
  6. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

You stated, "OSAS , while it preaches some truths , has omitted the dire necessary reminders and warnings". Well, it all depends upon which version of OSAS you're talking about. There's a true and a false version of it. Refer to my post #26, where I give my perspective on the differences that...

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

check out post #26 - Here I give my perspective on the true and false versions of OSAS
  8. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

Are you truly secure in Christ? - Part 2 God doesn’t simply require holiness; He promises it to all of His sons and daughters. If you know that you are in fact a child of God, then you can rest knowing that you will persevere. As Dr. Kenneth Keathley said, “perseverance should be viewed more as...
  9. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

Are you truly secure in Christ? - Part 1 Have you ever experienced the assurance and security that you have been accepted as righteous in the sight of God, knowing that you will receive a Heavenly inheritance? Well, this is precisely what has been offered and promised in the gospel to all who...
  10. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

Here's some further clarification on my perspective on the matter : Q: Can a genuine believer lose salvation? A: Yes. Q: Will a genuine believer lose salvation? A: No. It's one thing to state that something is possible and impossible at the same time, and quite another to say that although a...
  11. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

Well, this is an 'in-house' debate in the sense that we agree that no genuine believer will actually forfeit or 'lose' their salvation. So, although I view your interpretation of this verse as being plausible, I don't view it as being the probable one [which I stated in post #7]. Keep in mind...
  12. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

See my reply in post #7. It appears to me that your question is addressed in a response that I gave to another who asked questions that were essentially synonymous in nature with your question. I sincerely hope and pray that you do not buy into to the false teaching that believer's can obtain...
  13. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

Thank you for those kind words my friend, and may I add that your question is very observant and important. The reason why I much prefer to use the term Once Justified, Always Justified [OJAJ] than Once Saved, Always Saved [OSAS] is two-fold. Firstly, OJAJ is a much more precise theological term...
  14. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

Thank you for that warm greeting my friend! All of your questions will eventually be answered more fully in time via the articles that I'll be posting. But for now, I'll just give you the short answer to your questions . 2 Peter 2:20-22 - this verse involves a subjunctive conditional statement...
  15. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

Well, thank you my friend ... I'll certainly try to have fun, but I'm well aware of the fact that people can be brutal at times. The reality is, for the most part," earnestly contending for the faith which was once delivered for the faith which was once delivered to to saints", [per Jude 3]...
  16. Rapture Bound

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

What does it mean to be 'bought with a price'? That God was willing to obtain possession of us on Calvary by paying the ultimate price ... the blood of His own Son. The blood of Christ not only paid for the liberation of all those who have placed their faith in Christ's atoning work, setting...
