  1. Rapture Bound

We are judged by works, not by faith

So, how in the world can we ever know that we've done enough good works in order to qualify for salvation? How is the assurance of salvation even possible according to your gospel of works??
  2. Rapture Bound

We are judged by works, not by faith

'Behold' on this site made a very important comment pertaining to the topic of works when he said : = Not to stay saved, and not to be saved. That is what separates the Legalist from Paul's Doctrine and the Cross of Christ. Works are very important, but they are not to be done to try to stay...

We are judged by works, not by faith

Yes ... We are judged by works, not by faith ... AND ... We are saved by grace through faith, not by works.
  4. Rapture Bound

We are judged by works, not by faith

Well put Marks! It's just so hard for me to wrap my head around the strawman arguments that those who reject your statement here set up. The number one strawman argument being that any person who believes in Christ's imputed righteousness for their justified standing before God does so in order...

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

Just recently I've added another video to my above article which provides further compelling mathematical evidence for the Divine inspiration of the Bible. You really don't want to miss this one! "URGENT! New Discovery in FIRST and LAST Verses of the King James Bible! [2023]"

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

"So in reality there are only two possible options to acceptance with God. There is what Jesus called the narrow way, and the broad way. They both say Heaven, they both don't go there .The narrow way is the way of the gospel, the way of grace, the way of faith and it leads to life. The broad...

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

The question of justification by faith alone was the centerpiece of the Protestant Reformation. Sadly, today, many who are non-Roman Catholics share the same false doctrine of justification, while, at the same time tell me, "Yeah, we need to reach them lost Roman Catholics with the true gospel...

I get it ... you call it "mudslinging" - lol

“Christian Deconversion”? – Part 2 In my prior post I wrote, “In other words, did these people [professing Christian “deconverters”] ever truly believe that it is only “by grace through faith and not of works” that a person can be saved with such admissions? The following video is just one, in...
  10. Rapture Bound

There is no faith alone in Ephesians 2:8, stop adding words to it.

It will be interesting to see if the originator of this thread [2 Peter 1:10-11] agrees with what you and Eternally Grateful stated in posts #17-19. Your statements were spot-on and critically important to embrace. The question of justification by faith alone was the centerpiece of the...

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

"Protestants can call each other heretics but with so many Protestant denominations it is whole lot mud slinging." So I guess there's no such thing as a heresies after all? Am I to suppose to believe that the truth doesn't exist since there are so many opinions over the question, "what must I...

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

Why do I believe that Mormonism propagates a counterfeit form of Christianity. Well, for starters, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) believes in baptismal regeneration. Therefore, they reject that justification, or right standing before God, comes by grace through...

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

"Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God" ... "divine" with a lower case "d" ... why is that???

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

"Some do claim sinlessness, but on closer inspection you'll find that they don't classify all sin the same, that some sins are "excepted" from the standard." Yeah, I know the drill very well. They all have their individual lists in which they believe to be the "standard" to 'live up to' in...

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

The questions that you're asking will be answered in future posts on this topic ... this was part 1, there will be more to follow. I agree that we should be searching for scriptural truth, as opposed to denominational creeds, but this certainly doesn't imply that all denominational doctrines are...

No, it's not my personal video, but it represents the gist of my perspective on the topic.

Well, the summary is contained in the video at the end of the post.

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

“Christian Deconversion”? – Part 1 There are many professing Christians that I’ve encountered throughout the years that downplay the vast important of Biblical doctrine. They tell me that “salvation is not a matter of doctrine”. Can a genuine follower of Jesus Christ actually possess such a...

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

Just to add a couple other thoughts. I do truly understand your concerns here ... they are indeed valid. You simply don't want me leaving any type of impression that the salvation message promoted within Mormonism is what the true followers of Jesus Christ embrace. So, in that sense, you...

Once Blood Bought and Justified, Always Blood Bought and Justified? ... You Betcha!

To be clear, I also consider the 7th Day Adventist religion as presenting another Gospel and and a different Jesus = a false Gospel. My predominant views on justification come straight out of the Bible.
