    Flat earth.

Thanks, I'll try this. I've also tried to explain what the Firmament is to him. He thinks it is a solid because of this. Strong's Number H7549 matches the Hebrew רָקִיעַ (raqiya`), which occurs 17 times in 15 verses in the Hebrew concordance of the KJV. Outline of Biblical Usage [?] extended...

    Flat earth.

Been through both with him in detail. He interprets them to mean God is looking down on a circle, not globe. He said Job26:7 doesn't prove a globe earth. Flat earth can hang on nothing too. He doesn't believe in outer space, thinks all images are fake. He interprets scripture very different and...

Prophecy Alert: "The Fig Tree Generation"

He will come like a thief in the night. Nobody knows when or can predict when, so why bother even trying. Just be ready.

Genesis 1 focusing on the water above and the Firmament. Circle of the earth, Foundations, he thinks the earth has a foundation like a house has. The sun stood still. There are many more, sorry I cant remember the verses.

    Flat earth.

He doesn't believe in planets or outer space, all a conspiracy in his mind. He thinks they are all just lights under the dome.

    Flat earth.

He grew up thinking the earth is a globe as taught in school. Just in the last 5 years or so has he changed his mind. He's 53 years old now. I'm not sure if his parents are flat earth believers.

    Flat earth.

Its frustrating and bothersome when a loved one is deceived and not willing to even try and recognize it. He gets offensive at times and so do I. Its not a friendly relationship like it should be.

Is the Holy Spirit needed to believe initially?

How can you have faith in anything if you don't believe in it? We receive faith after believing. As we grow stronger in Christ so does our faith in him. That's what Faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit means. Jeremiah 29:13.

Is the Holy Spirit needed to believe initially?

Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart

Is the Holy Spirit needed to believe initially?

He might have influenced your decision in a different way than me. Everyone's life is different and everyone comes to Christ in there own way. He knows us and knows what we need.

Is the Holy Spirit needed to believe initially?

I think God is here for everyone but we must come to him and acknowledge him before we can receive his spirit. For me it happened in an instant. I have no doubt he had some influence in my decision to believe, but it was my decision. Some choose not to, doesn't mean he hasn't tried. I don't...

Is the Holy Spirit needed to believe initially?

I am, was and always be a sinner. My saving faith came from questioning Gods existence, not entirely from scripture. When I realized in my heart he is real and believed he died for me my life changed. From that moment till now all I want to do is know him.

Is the Holy Spirit needed to believe initially?

I'm sinful and I believe, I also have faith. With faith comes trust. I also have trust. Before I believed I had nothing. Believing came first.

    The Coming Great Apostasy

I believe the Mark of the beast hasn't been revealed yet.

    Flat earth.

Not saying I understand the whole Bible, I doubt anyone does. But when my friend has such a bad misunderstanding I wonder what else he has misunderstood and it bothers me. Debating each other also helps us study the word. Flat earth in my mind is another deception and it creates conflict among...

    The Coming Great Apostasy

I'm thinking it will be the other way around. Catholics believe in the same God and Jesus as the Messiah like any believer does. Islam does not on both counts and is an enemy of Christianity. I cant see the Papacy being the antichrist when we have Islam that is antichrist.

    The Coming Great Apostasy

I used to think the Papacy was the antichrist but I'm starting to change my mind. This video makes cense.

    Flat earth.

He isn't debating this. EARTH "IS"FLAT? No. One only needs to Open their EYES and SEE....WHAT "WAS" dry land "without hills and without mountains"... "HAS" Become .... "WITH" hills and "WITH" mountains...and SEPARATED with Masses of WATER. He thinks the earth is a flat disc with a solid dome and...
