Trick or treating and dressing up are copies of some of the rituals. That's why it opens the door to satan. Satanists believe by dressing up you mark your children as belonging to satan.

It was pagan and evil all about dressing up as evil spirits and leaving treats for them. And the druids were even worse making sacrifices to samhain. But ya, why don't you just omit those facts and call it just a harvest party. That's dishonest.

There are many satanic celebrations on the satanist calendar as provided in this thread. Does that mean we should celebrate them or that we shouldn't celebrate the few that most people recognize? According to a satanist in the attachment in the OP you are celebrating with them.

Ya greed and gossip are huge issues and need to be delt with. Eating too much at the potluck probably isn't as prevalient.

I wasn't speaking on sin alone but the issue that particular sins are rampant and being legitimized so they must be delt with.
