It is a shame. When I used to attend a Sunday church; I went to one where the Pastor would preach right out of the Bible, Verse by verse, with commentary. There is so much more value in the Bible study groups, in my opinion.

They gloss over them in the churches; even at Bible studies. They can't see past the scales. It's uncanny.
