    A Curious Question For Non-Trinitarians

Jesus said his disciples would be recognized by their fruits, especially the love they show. Compare the fruitage of God’s spirit with the works of the flesh in Galatians 5:19-23 and it is obvious how a true Christian should at least try to conduct him or herself. Sad really.

    A Curious Question For Non-Trinitarians

Repeating the truth over and over will do them no good. It doesn’t take long to see if someone is rightly disposed.

Is the Easter Bunny a fraud?

This raises a question that is bigger than just Easter. Are there other beliefs and practices that the Catholic Church “baptized” and is my religion still influenced by those traditions?

Is the Easter Bunny a fraud?

Does God approve of using pagan symbols and worship if we just decide to rename and adopt them into our worship? “Then he took the gold from them, and he formed it with an engraving tool and made it into a statue of a calf. They began to say: “This is your God, O Israel, who led you up out of...

Is the Easter Bunny a fraud?

The Catholics see nothing wrong with “baptizing” pagan practices. They don’t believe Christians “hold the patent on truth.”

What is God's "Plan" For You?

What is seen here is the enmity between the woman’s seed and Satan’s seed. Nothing short of Armageddon will end it.

    1 Corinthians 11:3

The language selected by those translators is so vivid. It’s hard to understand how that verse could be understood in any other way.

Genesis 1:26—The Words “Us” And “Our.”

It is amazing how much some can get out of “us” and “our.” They are plural but can apply to anywhere from 2 on up indefinitely. They also say nothing about the relationship of those multiple persons.

    1 Corinthians 11:3

At 1 Corinthians 11:3 the great majority of Bibles say “the head of Christ is God.” Here are four Bibles from Bible Gateway that have different and interesting wording. “However, I want you to realize that Christ has authority over every man, a husband has authority over his wife, and God has...

The Problem with 2 Peter 1:1

Let me add to your evidence Who is Jesus' God? Eph 1:17 John 20:17 Rev 3:12 Who Is greater than Jesus? John 14:28 Who is the head of Jesus? 1 Cor 11:3 Who created Jesus? Col 1:15 / Rev 3:14 Who created all things through Jesus? Col 1:16 Who sent Jesus? John 4:34 Who taught Jesus...

The Problem with 2 Peter 1:1

I appreciate your comment and for all I care, she can call me anything she wants. But in #221 she acknowledged that she called me dishonest. Obviously I disagree and reject her criticism. And in #185 she wrote that “tigger 2 was dishonest.” Maybe you can help her see that when she gets personal...

The Problem with 2 Peter 1:1

Logic? Thinking ability? Love for God and his Word? A willingness to search for the truth regardless of popularity?

The Problem with 2 Peter 1:1

Heresy? That word was used for centuries to justify killing and burning people at the stake by both Protestants and Catholics. How did Christians go from being persecuted to being the persecutors? It is obvious it is that neither group were true Christians. A tree is identified by its fruitage...

The Problem with 2 Peter 1:1

Do I sound young. I’m 68. You must be really old to refer to me as “kiddo.” Is it ok with you if I just quote “kiddo” without quoting your entire comment?

The Problem with 2 Peter 1:1

Did you notice that I did not call you dishonest or ignorant for contradicting your own quote? Did you notice the quotation marks and the … this time? That is to make it obvious it is a partial quote. That is a standard accepted practice. I quoted what made my point with no distortion...

The Problem with 2 Peter 1:1

It is not controversial? The quote you posted said “While it can hardly be said that there is any unanimous agreement on the subject…” Yet that is what you are trying to say. Looking at what the apostolic fathers wrote can have some value. However, Paul told the brothers in Ephesus that “From...

So you think that listing the 3 entities proves the trinity?

The Problem with 2 Peter 1:1

This quote from the Catholic Encyclopedia is informative. “The Vatican Council has explained the meaning to be attributed to the term mystery in theology. It lays down that a mystery is a truth which we are not merely incapable of discovering apart from Divine Revelation, but which, even when...

The Problem with 2 Peter 1:1

Yes. The Justin Martyr quote you offered contradicts the trinity and the Ignatius quote. Tigger2 shows the accuracy of that quote is at best controversial among scholars.
