    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

People stick their tongues in each other's mouths. It's nasty, I know, but they do. Is that where their tongues should be stuck? Is it sin since each tongue was made for its own mouth? I would appreciate it if no one ever stuck their tongue in my mouth, but if other folks want to do that...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

I believe in the resurrected Lord, Jesus Christ. In conjunction with the Holy Spirit, the Bible is the unique witness to Jesus Christ and the unique authority in terms of faith and practice, but the Bible is not without error. My faith is not in the scriptures but in the risen Lord.

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Why would you say I have rejected Christ? That's slander. You are implying I have rejected God's Word, Jesus Christ, which is certainly not true. But maybe I'm missing something? Is slander one of those sins that are okay?

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

I've already said I'm not convinced that it is wrong or a sin #771. But even if it is, it's no worse than the sin you or I still commit, which is what I have been saying. I haven't taken us off topic. We're still squarely situated in this issue.

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Of course not, we love that sin. It needs no promotion and few speak against it, especially Christians in this culture.

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Wonderful! I hope you will pray for us sinners.

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

You can declare yourself the judge of who is in and who is out if you want. I will wait for the proper time. Until then, I see myself in solidarity with all sinners.

    Define free will operationally

I wouldn't classify AI as an agent. I did not define agency, but I assume it includes not just intelligence but consciousness, i.e., awareness of one's self. Algorithms have neither consciousness nor agency; AI is simply algorithms all the way down (instead of turtles). :)

    Define free will operationally

@TonyChanYT Hardening the heart can be as simple as letting someone do what they want and not providing further insight so that they see that choice is a bad one. In that case God is not actively adding anything to the situation but refraining from adding what would rectify the choice.

    Define free will operationally

I think we can safely say he did what he wanted, which is the operational definition I gave. Do you think he wanted otherwise but God forced him to do what he did not want to do? There's no indication that was the case but it would be up to you to show that if that's what you think.

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

I honestly don't think it matters what I think about the rightness or wrongness of homosexuality. 1) God is judge and I'm confident God's judgments, when they finally come, will be just and good. 2) I have my own sins and passions to face, confess, and struggle against. For better or worse...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

I think a more moderate response would have been helpful. It would have also helped if Christians had made a distinction between marriage as a religious institution and marriage as a legal institution. It doesn't matter how wonderful the religious ceremony or how many prayers are said, it's not...

    Define free will operationally

Look at my definition. At that time in making his choice and acting on it, was Pharaoh able to do as he chose? If so, then he was free. It's not like Pharoah wanted other than what Pharoah did.

    Define free will operationally

They all do if my definition applies to them.

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

That text you're using to bludgeon homosexuals becomes self-condemnatory in its use as a bludgeon. Keep in mind, Paul is setting up the argument to show all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. Paul begins in Romans 1, speaking in the 3rd person about those who exchange the...

    Define free will operationally

Agent A has free will if and only if for any available choice at time t, A is able to do as A chooses.

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

Okay, so you gently say, "Homosexuality is a sin." Then what? Do you tell them to stop sinning like you have done? Do you say, "If you continue in homosexual relationships, I will use the power of government to stop you." Will you bar them from worshipping with you or leading you in worship? If...

The Complete List of President Trump's Accomplishments

That was not meant to be a personal attack. I said it seemed you forgot. Who knows? Maybe you're fully aware that treating the truth as malleable to Trumpian interests was in the game plan all along. I was not claiming otherwise. I just pointed out how things seem to me. Honest mistake. He's...

    Homosexuality: Wrong or Right?

It is. I don't know what happened. I signed up, took a nap, and started posting. ;) Well, fine. I guess I'm preaching to the choir, which isn't the worst mistake I made today. Lol. But it was good practice, I reckon. Since I've got you on the line: I wish Christians had taken a whole...

The Complete List of President Trump's Accomplishments

You seem to forget where this disregard for facts started. Trump's relationship with truth is asymmetrical: There is truth about Trump but Trump knows nothing about truth. Fact: "Alternative Facts" was a phrase used by U.S. Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway during a Meet the Press...
