It was never promised to be made. As God says, 'on the day when it is made' then this, that, you shall, etc... but they never built it.
Ezekiel 43:18
And He said to me, “Son of man, thus says the Lord God: ‘These are the ordinances for the altar on the day when it is made, for sacrificing burnt offerings on it, and for sprinkling blood on it.

That above is a SILLY ARGUMENT that goes directly against... God's written Word.

The Ezekiel 40 through 47 Chapters reveals that Temple WILL BE BUILT, as it is a FUTURE TEMPLE for AFTER Christ's future return!

And there are SUPERNATURAL EVENTS associated with that future Millennial Sanctuary per Ezekiel 47, like God's River of the Waters of Life and the Tree of Life!

So anyone... reading that with just a little common sense can easily tell WHY that has NOT YET been built during this present world. IT IS BECAUSE IT IS NOT... FOR THE TIME OF THIS PRESENT WORLD, BUT FOR THE FUTURE TIME OF CHRIST'S "THOUSAND YEARS" REIGN THAT STARTS WHEN HE RETURNS!

So I am amazed at the Biblical illiteracy of the original poster here!

Many Claim Ezekiel Chapters 40-46, Represents A Future Temple In A Millennium On Earth, Is This True

As clearly shown, Ezekiel Chapter 43 showed the temple "Pattern" to the House of Israel in the Babylonian Captivity let "Them" measure, Ezekiel was instructed to write the ordinances and law in "Their" sight, that "They" keep them, not some future generation as many "Falsely" claim

The temple seen in Ezekiel Chapters 40-46 is nothing more than the 2nd Zerubbabel Temple built 536BC after the Babylonian Captivity, where animal sacrifice for "Sin" was was instructed by "God", prior to the shed blood of Jesus Christ on Calvary, don't be deceived

Ezekiel 43:10-11 & 19-21KJV
10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.

19 And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord God, a young bullock for a sin offering.
20 And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.
21 Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.

It was a temple they could have built. The returning exiles from Babylon gave little thought for building another temple, as you can read in the OT in Ezra and Nehemiah. They had to be convicted by Ezra to build the one they did build.

The answer is way back in Ezekiel 34...referring to, and as a prophecy of, Matthew 25:32:

Ezekiel 34:17: ‘And as for you, O My flock, thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I shall judge between sheep and sheep, between rams and goats.

Matthew 25:32: All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.

God called upon King Cyrus to build the temple in Jerusalem after the defeat of King Nebuchadnezzar, fulfilling the prophecy of Ezekiel Chapters 40-46

Isaiah 44:28KJV
28 That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.

2 Chronicles 36:22-23KJV
22 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
23 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the Lord God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The Lord his God be with him, and let him go up.

A new Temple, dedicated to God, will be built before Jesus Returns. As all of the unfulfilled Prophecy in Ezekiel 40 to 48 and elsewhere describe. Haggai 2:8-9
Undeniable proof of this is in 2 Thessalonians 2:4, the fulfilment of Daniel 9:27. All yet to happen in the end times.

Deniel of these Bible truths is outright rejection of holy Scripture.

Ezekiel's temple was seen by John in a vision while he was in Babylon. IMO his vision of the temple and the city is talking about the same temple and city John saw in a vision in Revelation 21-22.

So if the measurements and things described in Ezekiel's temple are meant to be literal rather than symbolizing a coming reality, then we should also take Revelation 21-22's descriptions of the city and the temple literally.

Ezekiel 37:27:
"My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people" (Ezekiel 37:27).

Revelation 21:3
"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God."

The river of life, etc are mentioned in Ezekiel's temple and city.
