“Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned.” (Jeremiah 36:28, KJV)

“Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.” (Jeremiah 36:32, KJV)

VARIATIONS IN SCRIPTURE MEAN NOTHING.

AND I PERCEIVE GOD ALLOWS VARIATIONS IN THE HOLY WRITINGS SO THAT DOUBTING & UNFAITHFUL MEN FALL INTO THEIR OWN TRAPS.

“He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.” (Job 5:13, KJV)
So who was Adam's scribe? Who wrote down the story of creation? Wasn't it Moses who came over 2500 years later. Where did he get his detailed information about the creation of Adam and Eve? Who wrote them down previously so Moses could rewrite and add to it?

Moses had direct communication with God. He didn't need to read it.

Yes, I did. Details are above of why I heeded God and how I heeded my God.

I'm glad I did and bear the good fruit as a result. As some say, the proof is in the pudding, or, the proof is in the eating.

I don't limit the Spirit of Christ from feeding me anything. I know and trust He will give me good gifts. Whether they taste sweet or bitter in the first instance, in the end they will benefit me so that I bring pleasure to my Father in heaven. This is my greatest desire.

It wasn't God who told you to forsake the Bible! Guess who.

His God and Creator is my God and Creator. Moses had direct communication with God. He didn't need to read it. Same with this child of God, in fact every child of God. A direct relationship is the norm. Not the exception as many of us were told by the Pharisees and priests over thousands of years. We were sold the lie and we bought it.

Moses had direct communication with God. He didn't need to read it.

So it is with us. Praise God that He can and does communicate with us directly.

The situation for me was that the Spirit of Christ opened my eyes to see that He was not my first go to in my life. It was the bible. I would not read any other material nor consult any person, not even God, just the bible.

The Spirit convicted me of this unhealthy sinful action of idolatry, setting up another god before Him.
Exactly.
I have been cautioning those on the forum about bibliolatry for some time. (this topic)
Met with lots of push-back, of course.

I think it is one of the causes for believers not hearing the voice of God.
They are dependent on the Bible. And suffering the consequences of their idolatry.

Not to say that God CAN'T speak through the Bible, but we need to keep it in perspective.
"... no other gods before me."

1 Timothy 4:1-2

1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,

Such irony! I'm a Bible defender. What are you? Those who forsake the Bible are not "Brethren"!

Out of interest. Did the Spirit tell you this, as this statement is not in the bibles.
Yeah. Remember those voices in your head that deceived you into forsaking the Bible?

I have been cautioning those on the forum about bibliolatry for some time. (this topic)

A person who does not understand the Cross of Christ as the Grace of God as the Blood Atonement, that is the New Covenant..........is concerned for people who learned this from the bible, while you never have yet?

Imagine the irony @St. SteVen

I mean your hatred of the bible, includes your Threads about so called "errors in it".. so, how can you who feels the way you do, ever give respect to the word of God,?

Not going to happen.

Those who are led by the bible are children of God or is it those who are led by the Spirit are children of God. And if we are children, we are brethren and sisters.
