Personally I'm not concerned about those who find, hear, discover, receive God's words from whatever source and responds positively to them. I feel for those who hear His words and don't believe or obey them.

The words of God found shattered throughout the bible are pretty useless to those who don't have ears to hear or eyes to see their meaning. As the Jesus told Pharisees.

Likewise, when God's words are communicated directly to a person and they aren't believed or obeyed, they are not profitable or beneficial to the receiver.

I think many people get to know about God revealed in the writings within the bible but have never had direct personal interactions together with Him.

Now that's sad. He may say to them, away from Me, I never knew you. They could say, but I knew You Jesus, I read all about You. I even applied Your words to my life. I was baptised just like You were.

Jesus could be justified in responding, I never knew You. We were never in a personal relationship. You never came to Me and you never heard My voice. You were not one of My sheep. Away from Me.

The Bible is a great resource, but is a poor replacement for the source.

It is possible to use this resource, the bible, throughout one's lifetime and gain many benefits from it. I was one of them.

Though I don't use this resource much at all these days, it is still acknowledge it as a profitable one.

My go to is a Person, not to a thing. I worship the Person Himself, not what He has said or done.

I'm glad He had you access the bible. It is a great resource as it has recorded previously formed Spirit to spirit encounters. Like Paul of Tarsus. Fishermen Peter, Andrew, John and James.

Yet to have this direct encounter and oneness with Spirit of the Christ of God Himself is beyond fantastic.

The great thing is Jack, I'm already chosen and redeemed to reign with King Jesus the Christ in His kingdom by God in the bible. Nothing you or anyone else think or say can ever change God's mind, God's choice on this is final. And I am refering to God the Creator Who is refered to in the bible.

Amen!...it’s been a very hard and long journey, because I was taken from being in the world ,to suddenly being a spirit child of God...the Spirit has helped me develop my spiritual eyes and ears and continues to,do so..33 years ago I was Born Again, mind Blowing it was.

One thing God has taught me, is to seek him out with all of my heart mind and soul....I’ve had to learn to submit my will over to his will...boy has that been hard...pride and ego kept getting in the way..LOL...He is teaching me to humble myself and not to think highly of myself...there is NO knowledge In me...all my spirit knowledge comes from Christ...Praise God.

Which he does outside of the inspired word...his word explains how we never know the time or day when God chooses to birth us in the Spirit.

We are Born Of The Spirit...that occurs outside of the inspired word..just as Jesus explains to Nicodemus..you never know the time or hour, when...the Spirit will give birth to our spirit...being Born Of The Spirit is an Alive and Active birth....just like flesh is a Living flesh birth....ours is a Living Spirit birth.

The inspired word confirms all of this....The Bible is the inspired word of God, it was written under the “ influence “ of the Spirit by men.

Gods word is Alive and Active, His Living Spirit cannot be contained...he searches the heart of all men/ women , he knows the intents of the heart...because God is Living Spirit...that is why we are called to worship Him in Spirit...the Bible is not my idol...the Living Spirit Of God is who I idolise with all my heart...
