I'm sealed, safe and secure in my God's Family as one of my heavenly Father's children. No fear of gong to hell here my friend. Unless, like my Eldest brother Jesus, Father sends me there. But even if I was sent as a visitor to hell, it would be as a child of God, as an ambassador of the Divine Family.
I feel sorry for those who don't have this confidence in their God and dear Father to protect and preserve them. My faith is in My Father and His Son, the Christ of God.
Where is your faith and confidence my friend?
So, you hear voices. You don't know who your God is. You have Creators. You forsook the Bible. That's quite a resume'!
My ears listen out for the voice of the Good Shepherd of the flock of God. I hear what He communicates with me and follow what He has to say to me.

How about the parts where the made they decision to not translate it into their language? They showed awareness that their translation was merely a preference. The Hebrew words actually appear in the New Testament manuscripts.

Doesn't the Good Shepherd in heaven, from heaven communicate with you directly?
Or just the Good Shepherd when He was on earth 2000 years ago. That being via a few of His saying that were documented by 4 witnesses. Again 2000 years ago.
Those who forsook the Bible wouldn't like what God has to say. Are you sure Satan isn't sweet talking you to Hell? You should have heeded God's warnings.

The reality is that there are two major lines of Bibles that exist today.
There is…
#1. The KJV / Received Text line
(Greek New Testament: Textus Receptus (99.99% of the Beza 1598)
(Hebrew Old Testament: Ben Chayyim Masoretic 1524-25)
KJV / TR Christians today generally regard either the 1769 Blayney KJV or the 1900 Pure Cambridge KJV as the standard in English.
#2. Modern Translations / Critical Text line
(Greek New Testament: Nestle and Aland that continually shape-shifts but based primarily on manuscripts Vaticanus & Sinaiticus)
(Hebrew Old Testament: BHS)
In my experience, many Christians in the Modern Bible Movement have a pick and choose your adventure Bible mentality. They do not have any real standard or one set of the perfect words of God.
The underlying Hebrew and Greek manuscripts are different between the KJV, and the Modern Bibles.
These differences are very significant. Some of these differences are even heretical.
In my KJV debate with Jeffrey Dollar, in my 25 minute opening, I provide a reading of a Powerpoint slide. In the ending section of my slide, I go into the doctrinal differences between the KJV and Modern Bibles that are very serious.
Side Note:
I used to live in Columbus, Ohio.
It has been about 26 years since I last step foot there.
I am curious how things may have changed.

Does He keep His commandments?
That is the condition of knowing the Lord.
1 John 2:3-4
"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."
How can you keep His commands without learning them from the Bible?
I am not talking about the Sabbath, circumcision, or dietary laws. That would be the Old Covenant that is no more.
I am talking about the commands that come from Jesus and His followers under the New Testament.
But most today are clueless or in denial of what this passage actually says.
They simply don't believe or have faith.
It's because we are living in the last days.

Look. The Bible is the expressed thoughts of God.
The Bible represents a small fraction of His mind and desire for mankind.
If you downplay God's word by which He gave us, then you attack the very mind of God.
However, you cannot undermine His words and or say they are not important.
God's words are a part of God.
I mean, stop and think. Was the servant who wrote this Psalm below a heretic because he loved God's word?
"Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it." (Psalms 119:140).
Jesus said abide in me and abide in my words (John 15:7).
His words are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63).
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 – “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.”
- Those who do not obey the gospel (which includes rejecting God's words) face destruction that has everlasting consequences.
- This gospel in 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 could be interpreted as either the gospel message (the good news or words from 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) or it could be referring to the one entire gospel story or narrative that comes from all of the 4 gospels).
1 Peter 1:25 says that the word of the Lord endures forever, and this is how the gospel is preached unto you.
This word of the Lord is the communicated Word of God because 1 Peter 2:2 refers to this Word as how we are to desire the sincere (pure) milk of the Word that we may grow thereby. There is also the meat of the Word, as well (Hebrews 5:14), which is to discern between good and evil. How can you discern between good and evil without the meat of the Word?

Unfortunately, any person who rejects the Bible or downplays it is following another Jesus.Jesus is leading you on a path that reduces the importance of the written word of God???
The real Jesus of the Bible quotes Scripture as an authority:
In all Jesus' teachings, He referred to the divine authority of the Old Testament (Matthew 5:17-18; Matthew 8:17; Matthew 12:40-42; Luke 4:18-21; Luke 10:25-28; Luke 15:29-31; Luke 17:32; Luke 24:25-45; John 5:39-47). He quoted the Old Testament 78 times, the Pentateuch alone 26 times. He quoted from Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, Psalms, Proverbs, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Amos, Jonah, Micah, and Malachi. He referred to the Old Testament as “The Scriptures,” “the word of God,” and “the wisdom of God.” Jesus defeated the devil by using Scripture. For three words, "It is written" was said 3 times by Jesus in Matthew 4:1-11. This is confirmed by Ephesians 6 with how the Sword of the Spirit is the Word of God which is a part of putting on the amor of God so that one can stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11, 16). For the Living Word (Jesus) is like a two-edged sword that divides asunder the soul and the spirit because He always speaks the words of God because He is God (Hebrews 4:12).

Yet God spoke to our brother Paul who documented this...
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
I find comfort and confidence that as a child of God, confirmed by God's Spirit Guide, enables me to say I love my God my Father and say Jesus the Christ is my Lord, my Saviour, my King.
So be encouraged, there's no need for fear of hell here my friend.

No my friend you have not missed anything. It is the same and worse since 26 years ago.
When me & my girl began having kids we didnt raise then in Coumbus, so we moved to Colorado and was there for right around 30 years. During that time we made 3 trips back to visit family and stuff and all 3 times we cut our visit short and went home early!
The only reason I am here now is because God told me to give my business to my son and move back to Ohio. That was not in my plans! What happened was, a Brother in Christ that I knw from a Christian board, we were friends and traded phone numbers and stuff, and one day he calls me and says Ed, I dunno what this means but God told me to tell you to give your business to your son and move to Ohio again. And I rejected that notion, but he kept talking and began telling me things about my life that I had never told this man before, and he was exactly right in what he said, so this was God's confirmation that, this is real and from God. God gave him words of knowledge about me.
I still resisted but you know how God is. All of a sudden I couldn't go to church or watch a sermon video or anything where they didnt start talking about Jonah! And that scared me so...Here I am!
Because I did obey Him, he has blessed me in big ways since I've been here He made everything click into place for me and even gave me a house with no note!

Do you realize how many can make the cliam they hear from Christ .
Yet many often hear things CONTRARY to HIM .
example .
One man believes GOD , CHRIST is fine with homosexulaity and that its love and good .
Another man believes its evil and GOD calls it abomination .
NOW WHICH one would actually BE HEARING from GOD , from the SPIRIT .
YET they both claim they do .
THE ONE who is beleiving that which is contrary to the scriptures , IS NOT HEARING from GOD but from darkness .
SO on that note , BIBLE TIME friend .
SO many believe they hear from GOD and yet they loving money , sins , a lie and lies
and hate the truth HE inspired . They hate HIS words . That right there proves THEY DO NOT HEAR from THE SPIRIT at all .
cause the SPIRIT IS TRUTH and TESTIFIES OF TRUTH , OF THE SON . not lies . Bible time and do so quickly .

I see that happen right here on this board! and what i noticed about them is how arrogant they are about it and very stoic that, God told me this or whatever.
I was thinking about that and other people are arrogant also. Most of those who write things that are wrong (Like in the pretrib/posttrib rapture debates!) they are very arrogant about it. So I pondered on arrogance. Why are they arrogant? Where does arrogance come from? What is it? Arrogance is being stoic about the issue and disrespectful to their interlocutor.
That all indicates a closed mind and being unable to consider alternative viewpoints. Making it hard to learn, or impossible. It's also the arrogant ones insecurity and self desire to want to elevate oneself among others...and never be wrong! Soo...Christian topics? Oh well God told me that! to sound convincing.
Wisdom means being able to have the responsibility to own it when one is wrong. Man learns from his mistakes! So a lack of accountability and responsibility is also present.
Now it took me awhile but I dedicated myself into being able to perceive and hear the still small voice of God and I did learn how, ok? (and have learned many things since then!) and when the Lord speaks, he will never ever contradict anything in scripture. And me and the Lord talked a lot and I learned things and I had the desire to share these things sometimes, but I discovered real quick that, Coming across like, thus sayeth the Lord...can be tacky! So I shyed away from that for awhile and I didnt want to sound arrogant or anything so I stopped. But then I thought about how time is short for us on earth and so I should share what some of what the Lord shares with me because the time is coming and indeed is already here, when man must worship God in spirit and in truth, right? And the Lord told me that He wants for all of His people to be able to hear His still small voice and to obey immediately. But these arrogant christians have not heard the still small voice of God, they are stuck in an old time white picket fence , namby pamby type of christianity where they look only to doctrine. One can not read the word of God carnally, it just dont work. And these people need to ponder these things and get closer in their relationship to God and that is so important to learn that, I go ahead and say it, the Lord told me that...(whatever) and if they scoff or do not believe me...perhaps some with ears to hear may be helped by this truth
Unfortunately the Spirit in me has nothing to do with evil, wickedness, sin. Together we live in the light and love God and our neighbours. He speaks, I listen and together we will, desire and carry out our life for Father's good pleasure.
By myself I was chasing the things of this world, some of which you mentioned above. But since we have teamed up, the Spirit being the lead partner I am being transformed to bear the character of my new Father in heaven.
So with the Spirit of Truth inside me I confidence that with His divine power and influence we will be just fine. We give glory and thanks to Jesus and His Father for Their continual demonstration of Their love for Their creation..
