I've said so before. But what about the rest of my post...do you agree with the point I was making, that we need BOTH the word of God AND His Spirit? Or is your purpose with this simply to cast doubt on the bible?
You know, it occurs to me that those few verses that are in dispute and aren't in all the early manuscripts are only harmful if they contradict and are not in harmony with the rest of the scriptures.

Rejecting the Book is rejecting the Author!
Who are 'they'? Whoever they are my encouragement would be to turn their eyes and ears to Christ, the Truth. If they find Christ speaking indirectly through His body, books, nature or directly through visions, dreams, an audible voice or by whatever other means He chooses than great. But that's only the beginning wouldn't you say. To hear is one thing. To believe and obey is another.
And to confirm that:
1 Timothy 4:1-2
1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,
Hawaii is planet earth. Planet earth is Hawaii. People can spend all their life in Hawaii and never leave it. That's great for them.
Yet Hawaii is not all planet earth but mearly a small part of the whole earth. For someone from there to claim it's the only place to live and that we shouldn't leave and go elsewhere for fear of the possible unknown dangers is very questionable, in fact is an untruth.
The bible contains God's words of truth but not all. People can go live outside the bible. In fact They can and do. We are maturing into the likeness of the Christ Who is the image of God the Father.
Personally I have left Hawaii (bible) and have gone further afield. It's possible to return but at this stage I have no desire to as there is an amazing world of God's truth outside the bible because God Himself is way way beyond the covers of the bible.
Unlike a genie, God cannot be contained, not in a bottle nor in a book. He is like the wind, free, unbridled, uncontrollable, infinite. And He is the Sovereign Master.
It contains all we need to know to enter God's eternal Kingdom and avoid burning in fire FOREVER! It tells us how to recognize Satan.

Satan is expert at imitating Jesus and leading former Bible believers to Hell Fire.
Can you prove any of that? Stick with the Bible so you don't burn in Hell!
You should have heeded God! Now you're communicating personally with Spirits that you have no idea who they are.

I perceive that you are unaware of the path you have taken:
“Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.” (Psalms 17:4, KJV)
And without being skillful with spiritual weaponry:
“…take the… sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6:17, KJV)
That's what the Bible calls 'departing from the Faith', giving heed to demons!
You are so funny. I was once like you. Saying similar things. It's ok my friend. The Creators and I are fine in the relationship we have together. Life with God outside the bible is great! I appreciate the ongoing revelation of my Sovereign Creator Who governs everything according to His desires and will.
We are cool. And it is well with my soul.
