Are you refreshed by the Spirit daily?
The Bible can’t refresh my spirit, only the Living Spirit can do that.
5. Jeremiah 31:25``I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.'' God wants to refresh us when we are weary and faint. He invites us to turn to him and receive this refreshment. I like to imagine streams of living water washing over me as he refreshes my soul

The bible is the word of life.
its spiritual food.
You feed your born again spirit, with the word of God.
Calvinism, is the death of your faith, once it owns your mind.... because it denies the word of Life (The bible).

Oh yes sister its the SPIRIT that does refresh . No doubt about that .
And TRUTH always rejoices my soul . as CHARITY rejoices in TRUTH . man i have to admit
the BIBLE is loaded with TRUTH . prayer is very good . Even hearing truth from another rejoices my soul .
But when i hear , not saying you did it , the mixture , the blend that has come to twist and omit things that were written
Man its like having eaten a five pound plate full of mead mixed with beans
THEN GOING on a ten minute roller coaster fifty triple loup ride . ITs leaves me ready to puke sister .
SO why come then do many love to hear the mixture . that last question is a real good question i just asked dear sister .
Why do some seem to love only TRUTH while many seem to love mixture .
And the answer to that question is
JESUS SHEEP HEAR HIS VOICE , NOT A STRANGERS . but many loveth to hear the voice of hirelings of strangers who sure
do omit and twist things . Just a real friendly reminder my dear sister .

The Spirit is the word of life, who gifts us the faith to believe in Jesus, in our spirit....not the Bible...the Bible confirms how God brings life into our heart.
The Bible cannot bring any life into your spirit...only Gods Living witness can do that.by divine , Living heart revelation....
Just as his word explains...the Bible helps us grow in spirit knowledge, as long as he leads us through the scriptures, then brings them to our understanding.imo.

Correcting and warning of course needs to be a part of what the church does, but i would think in about the same proportion as we see in the bible, which spends at least as much time teaching/preaching what is true (and probably more?) as it does on warning against the false. There are also other parts of the body whose gifts aren't necessarily in the realm of warning/correcting and there are other things they want to look at in scripture and learn and discuss and grow. Really feel in my heart that the FOCUS of the remnant needs to be on what is true, not on what is false. Old wise saying about how to spot counterfeit money is to get to know the look and feel of real money really well. They spend more time teaching and showing folks what real money looks and feels like than they do showing them fake money. For one thing counterfeits come in many forms, not just one, but there is only one of the real. Know the real very well and then you can spot any counterfeit no matter what new variation someone tries to sneak by you.
So to me it's a matter of focus, and balance/proportion. And no matter how bad things are looking, God is still in charge. Nobody is going to stop what has been prophesied. Anybody who can't see a falling away happening by now is probably because they are part of it. The "younger" ones are usually the most vulnerable - children blown about by every wind of doctrine - so they need to be shown and taught the true gospel if they are going to develop discernment concerning what is false. They aren't going to be able to see the truth of any warnings otherwise.

there is a dire need to promoting the true gospel .
so here goes . Ye must believe JESUS is the CHRIST confessing him by mouth and believing from the heart that GOD has rose him
from the dead .
Postive reinforcment , HE who believes NOT the testimony that GOD gave of HIS SON is calling GOD a liar .
WHO is a liar , he who denies JESUS is the Christ , he is anti christ .
any message that implies the christain truth is no better than any other religoins truth , EVEN if its taught
by those who claim to beleieve in HIM , IS A LIE of anti christ . and one cannot sit at and agree with BOTH tables .
We cannot agree with CHRIST but then DENY HIM at the table of interfaith .
There is good reason i keep warning out against interfaith . For some it will sink in time to come they will remember .
If these so called interfaithers can come onto sites and continually try and bring
these messages of NO HELL FIRE , implying that also other religoins are okay as long as they so call love
IF THEY dont take a day off , and sister THEY DONT , i cannot take a day off to expose them and to point ONLY to CHRIST .
IF this site did as it should and removed men that taught contrary to the gospel
THEN It had been much simplier . BUT since the goal of most seems to be naught but unity and getting along
the leaven reamins and thus i must always expose it when i see it . We did this to ourselves
by adopting this seeker friendly get along attitude . the true men now have to warn relentelssy
cause the false ones never get removed and they NEVER STOP trying to plant ideas that are contrary .
BUT it always gives my heart joy to see others walking in the faith .

I don’t think anyone here is denying Jesus...even if they are, aren’t we to leave them alone and let the Spirit deal with them?

What did JESUS say to do with those who deny HIM .
shake the dust off
what did JESUS and later the apostels say concerning those who err or bring another gospel
COME OUT from amonst any and heed not any who brings another gospel .
concering evil , sins and etc what are we to do
Rather REPROVE THEM . Its the duty of any well seasoned man in any setting
to correct those in error and to warn against any who bring any other gospel than that which we had recieved .
SO in essence it IS THE SPIRIT JOB , ITS JUST the SPIRIT WORKS amongst the body to correct the body .
Thanks for the lovely reminder rita . IT IS BY HIS SPIRIT i am warning and doing all for the good of the people .
As i wrote a while back , MEN gonna be the ones who gonna do the correcting .
Women can help mostly by prayer and perhaps at times agreeing with the man who is doing the correction .
But are you seeing leaven in the OP topic here about Christian suffering?
Nothing to do with "getting along" and seeker friendly, but we do need to learn about other things to do with Christ and the gospel besides leaven. I sure wish I had some understanding of this subject of suffering when my life started to fall apart and turned into a nightmare very soon after receiving Jesus so long ago. There was no teaching on it and no encouragement from the churches I was going to and I hadn't yet taken note of or read such things in the bible as "be not surprised at the painful trial" and the Lord "chastises who He loves as sons". It sure would have helped in those early years. People need to be taught and encouraged and strengthened to endure.

keep this in mind dear sister . those who are asking me to tone it down
are as those who tell a fireman to cut back on the water he is spraying on the building that is on fire .
SHOULD a fire man cut back on the hose in order to appease
or should not those who desire him to tone it down RATHER BE PRAYING HE HOLDS THE FULL FORCE
of that HOSE no matter what cometh against him . THE BUILDING IS BURNING SISTER
and the children have no idea that is burning . I will do as i must and it will cost me much sister .
but remember WHOSE WORDS DID I BRING TO TRY AND SAVE . this generation hates me sister
it truly does . Most of christendom can no longer even stand me . BUT THAT HOSE WONT SLOW DOWN SISTER
i know WHO SAVES , HIS WATER i will use to do all to save anyone i can .

No, I've spent years comparing the false doctrines of John Calvin to what God's Word teaches and he is most definitely a heretic and a false teacher.
It's sad to see people following doctrines of demons which is what calvinism is, but the Lord said in His Word some would depart from the faith and follow doctrines of demons in the end times. 1 Timothy 4:1
I'm addicted to my personal relationship with the Father thru Jesus Christ powered by the Holy Ghost based on God's Word.
Too bad to don't understand the gospel, but then how could you seeing you are a follower of that unrepentant murderer John Calvin as you embrace the doctrines of demons satan taught thru this man.
Just be very sure it is the Lord aiming the firehose when and where it needs to be, and not we ourselves. Fire hoses can be very destructive when they aren't handled properly.

Many kinds of thorns over the years here, some of which involve other people so can't really get into it all, and also some of which I brought on myself. But I don't think thorns in the flesh are a separate thing necessarily from the chastisements we undergo in the will of the Lord that we may partake of His holiness. Just that in Pauls' case he was given insight and understanding as to why he was suffering chastisement in that particular way (whatever that way happened to be).
It's always encouraging when we see/discern the fruit of our suffering, usually after the fact.
