Will there ever be a time in the future when people will be unable to loose their salvation?
I personally believe there are people who have reached a point in their spiritual lives where they aren't going back for 'nuttin. They see the world and it's loves for what it is and will not go back to it no matter what.

Well, we will have to part company here. Emotion is not the driver in Scripture but I understand your embrace of the feminization of Christian theology. My pastor disagrees with you. I'll side with my Pastor - and Jesus.

Not everyone who says to Me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven. Simply calling Me “Lord” will not be enough. Only those who do the will of My Father who is in heaven will join Me in heaven.
Matthew 7:21 (Voice)
Emotion? So now your gonna accuse me of something I never said?

Trust and assurance is not an emotion, I actually got those words from the definition of the Greek work translated faith,

you want to use the response of faith as the definition of faith, that’s not how it is supposed to be.

true faith works, amen, but that’s not how the Greeks defines faith,

you listen to your pastor, I will listen to the word as written by the apostles.

OSAS is total nonsense. Why don't you preach the fear of God? I think you're just trying to convince yourself of OSAS.
For we have not been given the spirit of fear but of a sound mind

for we were not given a spirit of fear, but a spirit of adoption whereby we cry out Abba Father.

Jesus said, come to me and I will give you rest,

You fear God because you are forced to, because if you do not measure up in your gospel. You will be left out. yes we should look to God with awe, and wonders and respect him as God. But the only people who truly need to fear God are those who are not his children.

your gospel is self righteousness, if I was you I would fear God, because my eternity depends on it, however, your fear will not help you if you do not become poor in spirit,

Will you have free-will after that?

You'll have a glorified, immortal body as Jesus has at the resurrection.

Free will is no longer a factor, you have now witnessed the Lord in all His glory!

But yes, we will still have it, the Lord forces no one.

You must judge me as unsaved to "prove" OSAS. Like I said, OSASers are some of the most judgmental people on Earth!
Matthew 7:1-2 (NKJV)
1 "Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

Now you're just plain LYING!
Yeah, and you have done nothing but judge osas since I first met you

practice what you preach h man,

face reality,

there is only one gospel. So one of us is not saved, because we have totally different gospels.

second,if your gonna judge osas, for heavens sake, understand what it teaches. We do not believe or teach what you insist we do.

judge not lest ye be judged? Look in the mirror, read that back to yourself, and remember it next time you wish to falsly judge people who believe in eternal security with the false truths you keep judging us on,

I think it's against Forum rules to declare me as unsaved. Is everyone who denies OSAS unsaved?
Who said I declaired you unsaved.

I just stated a fact concern what you said to me,

why are you being so defensive? You think it is ok if you judge my belief but I have no right to judge yours?

Now your being a hypocrite

What if I'm wrong about what? OSAS? The Bible is the written Word of God. Jesus is my Savior. What am I wrong about? OSASers are so judgmental!
Smh, whatever dude

continue to judge my faith I will continue to judge your judgment of my faith,

you don’t like it, stop it,

Yep

because they tasted what they thought god would give, and the world and the world was their true desire.

It’s like trying christianity, then realising your true faith was in the law. Your faith was never in God in the first place. If it was, you never would go back to a hopeless situation..

Yes, when our redemption is completed at the resurrection.

Paul told us that we only have a down payment on our redemption which is the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 1:13-14
When you make a down payment, you are promising to make the total payment in full, it’s called a pledge,

I make this payment as a pledge that I will pay the rest when the payment is due

if I do not pay, I have forfeited my own payment, and I not only lose what I purchased but I lose what I already payed.

you should maybe study up on banking, it meant the same in pauls day as it does today.

the onus is on God not us, yu can’t pay 1/1000000 of what you owe god, if God does not pay it all. Your lost. Period

I'm pretty sure we're on the same page here. The believing that we're talking about here is the believing that Jesus talked about that saves.
It’s faith

faith in the Greek is to have assurance, to be assured, to ha e confidence

if you have no assurance in Christ, you have no faith,

I don't recall saying John 6 was talking about just mere belief. I'm confident Jesus was talking about genuine saving faith and belief when he said this....

Truly, truly, I tell you, he who believes has eternal life. John 6:47
They why would you deny eternal life and preach conditional life!

That is a reality in life, not in eternity!

We only have a down payment because of Heb. 3:14 and several other verses like it!

"For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;"

It can't get any plainer than this! If you don't hold on to your faith in Christ until your last breath, you're not going to make it!

...if continued faith is required, as you insist...
It's what the Bible says. It's even what osas says! Osas gets it from these verses...

...we are His house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope of which we boast. Hebrews 3:6

We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly to the end the assurance we had at first. Hebrews 3:14

The difference between osas and anti-osas is osas says the true believer will always believe and can never stop believing. Anti-osas says it's your choice to continue to trust in the gospel or not. But the important thing is they both defend the undeniable and plain truth of scripture that a person must continue to believe in order to be saved when Jesus comes back. And that's the important thing that we are to be focused on and encouraging each other in.

You're not crazy, you just talk to much!

All of us have crazy thoughts running around in our heads from time to time.

Just don't go telling it to folks you really don't know.

That's not helpful advice its really quite serious, I have been talking over 3 threads with him tonight, he thinks he has a time machine can go back in time and try and undo a sin so he can make it???? serious stuff and it is crazy because its not true and not possible, a few days ago I saw you where going to deal with his falsehoods you where just the man? then I see you making a thread against Once saved always saved I was surprised, and you two getting on fine, was this your common ground I ask intrigued because I didn't see what changed. But it is the main topic he sides with , works salvation and you can lose your salvation, Both False by the way, But hey if you think you can lose your salvation that's what you believe, but I do have a question for you Do you think It is the Holy spirit talked about in John 14:16

I just learned a few days ago what he has overcome in his religious background.

I have a change of heart in my way toward him now.

Instead of pounding him every time I see error, I am encouraging him to continue in the truth!

You can view my last few posts to see where I stand on osas.

This is one of the many areas @justbyfaith and I agree!
