well? was the apostle Perfect? sinless, I mean as an apostle.... your answer please...

Of course they were. If they weren’t, we have hypocrites on our hands; because Paul, for one, said this:

2 Corinthians 13:11
...brethren... Be perfect

And Jesus had strong opinions about hypocrites:

Matthew 6:5 KJVS
...thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are

What kind of God and Apostles are you serving in your mind? You actually believe Paul was continuing as a chief sinner while writing so much about holiness to the brethren?

Your corrupt doctrine has given you another gospel, along with other Apostles, and another Jesus.

Crazy!

all my past sins before coming to Christ are forgiven. but in him if i sin, I confess, understand now.
Your support for this assertion requires you to add to Scripture, which then takes that Scripture and turns it into something else.

If you were sinless you could have been our sacrifice on the cross

No I couldn’t: impossible for ANYONE other than Christ to atone for sin.

For one, I have sinned; Christ never sinned.

And secondly:

Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit in a specific time using the prophesied Virgin Mary.

DID YOU NOT HEAR WHAT I WROTE?

Yes, (no need to shout), you had written,

NOW LISTEN GOOD,
Romans 2:13 "(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified."

see Mark, you are, "righteous by God's grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus". but you do something also. for the "doers" are justified.

To which I replied that in context, this is telling you that to be justified by the Law you have to DO it, not just hear it. This is not a passage which teaches the Christian is justified by the keeping of the Law. It teaches, rather, that the keepers of the Law are justified by it. It's not enough to say, I'm a Jew, I have the Law! No, you have to keep it.

Let's keep the passage in context, OK?

Much love!

NOW ONCE MORE,
my .... righteousness ... is .... Christ Jesus ...... and ..... not .... the .... Law. ...... Got it now?.
OK, maybe I realize the problem here . . .

Please, allow me,

Am I, you, anyone really desirous that we would be justified according to the Law? We've all already disqualified ourselves. Break one law, and that makes one a lawbreaker. No one should expect the Law to justify them, because they have to DO it for that to happen. 100%.

Is that better?

Much love!

Here's my question.

If you sin now, is that sin forgiven and removed in the cross? Or does that forgiveness wait until you confess?

Sounds like you are contradicting yourself then. Cause you claim you don't sin. More than once you have made those claims in fact.

thanks for the reply, you said, "If they weren’t, we have hypocrites on our hands" ... well not really, but did not the apostle Paul said this, Ephesians 4:26 "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:" did he not also say that? well now, did not he and Barnabas have a falling out over John mark even to the point of separating?. is this not true, and did not the sun go down on that wrath of sharp contention in even separating? is this true yes or no?

Well I think that if we die before we repent we are still forgiven if we are saved, but think of it like this,.. would you automatically forgive somebody if they started pushing you around and calling you names one day and didn't apologize but expected you to be their best friend the next day? I wouldn't. I would want an apology from them first at least and then I might develop a friendship with them over time but that's what it would take is time. Now I know God automatically forgives and moves on after we repent, but I think He wants to hear us say that we're sorry first.

once more, Romans 3:25 "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;"
HIS BLOOD HAS BEEN GIVEN. this is why we have confession now.

Mark you have't been reading my post I see. look, learn, and listen, 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Mark I want to ask you a plain question, who is confessing sins here. read verse 9 above again.... and then tell me who is confessing their sins. will be looking for your answer.

somethimes you have to walk people into the truth.

you claim you don't sin. More than once you have made those claims in fact.

I never stated that I never sinned in my life. That’s ridiculous. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

But the true test of a born again Christian (according to scripture) is wether or not he continues to sin.

If I myself will stand convicted by that standard some day, so be it. The truth is the truth. But I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). Control your lust and sin cannot come forth: the Bible teaches this. So we must not lie against the truth.

James 3:14
...lie not against the truth.

I think that God has fully reconciled us to Himself, and since this was done through Jesus, and not through me, I'm not a party to the transaction, only a beneficiary. I don't have the power to "unreconcile" myself from God, and He's not planning to do that either!

But a good relationship certainly has openness and honesty. Which I've found, I am much more open and honest with God knowing that He ALWAYS accepts me His son, being in His Son.

Much love!

Thanks Rose.. Luke 23:34 "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots."

You don't answer my questions. You keep going in circles. I popped into this conversation to discuss a particular part, but you don't want to, I get it.

OK.

Do you remain unforgiven until you, as a born again child of God, confess?

@Michiah-Imla, before you answer, let me be crystal clear, "DO YOU HAVE SIN NOW", not "HAD" sin, past tense, but have sin, present tense.
