What Luther probably didn't understand was that if anyone is saved / born again through the grace of God, they are a new creature in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17 (kjv))...identified by the following scripture,
Tit 3:3, For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
Such people do not rape a million times per day...
So his statement of hyperbole, that he would still be saved if he raped a million times a day, turns out to be false...for such behaviour would be faithful evidence that he was not truly born again of the Holy Spirt but had a false profession of faith.
"the doers of the law shall be justified" (Romans 2:13) when they stand before God on the day that they are judged by their works (2 Corinthians 5:10)...not because they sought to obey a set of do's and don'ts and succeeded at it...but because they received the Holy Spirit by faith (Galatians 3:14) and the love of the Lord through that Spirit (Romans 5:5); which love is practical (1 John 3:17-18) and the fulfilling of the righteousness of the law within them (Romans 13:8-10, Galatians 5:14, 1 John 5:3, 2 John 1:6, Romans 8:4).
They were justified on this earth through faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law. But because they had faith in Christ, they bore the fruit of the Spirit against which there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23).
So, they became law-abiding citizens of the kingdom through bearing the fruit of the Spirit because of faith in Jesus Christ.
you are forgetting that the New Covenant includes the law being written on the hearts and minds of its recipients (Hebrews 8:8-10, Hebrews 10:16, Romans 8:7, Romans 8:4, 1 John 5:3, 2 John 1:6, Romans 13:8-10, Galatians 5:14; Romans 5:5)

Uh.....wanna discuss your “ Doctrine” Of “ Lucky Repentance?” You barely mention it anymore....
If it is true , you are going to make God angry by not shouting it from the mountain tops ! Do I sense a reluctance ? Why the silence? Aren’t souls being Lost as you withhold the “ truth”....If I thought that one had to repent of all their sins before they die, lest they go to Hell, I would be in here shouting it out anytime that I did not see it taught.....

There is no law that has the ability to impart life (Galatians 3:21)...not even the law that says, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul, mind, and strength; and thy neighbor as thyself."
That law merely shows us that we are sinners because without the Holy Spirit we miserably fail when it comes to the love that is required.
However, through faith in Christ, the love of the Lord can be shed abroad in our hearts so that we do measure up to that requirement (Romans 5:5).
So, we are saved by faith in Christ and not by that law which only shows us that we have sinned and come short of the glory of the Lord.
When we begin to allow Christ to live His life in us and through us, it is then that He will begin living a perfect life (Colossians 3:14) in and through these mortal bodies that we also dwell in (Galatians 2:20).

My belief in "Lucky Repentance" (which is biblical, btw) in no way contradicts the concept that we are saved by grace through faith.
We can only begin to walk in holiness and righteousness by the grace of God. Righteousness is indeed a gift (Romans 5:17) and it is indeed practical (1 John 3:7, Romans 5:19, Matthew 5:6).

There are many doctrines in scripture that need to be discussed.
The doctrine of "Lucky Repentance" is only one of them.
We will move on from that doctrine if God permits; as it is a basic doctrine (Hebrews 6:1-3).
As long as you continue to bring it up, I will address it; for it will be useful for the "newbies" to understand.
Your concept of “ Lucky Repentance” is a splendid example of “ Adding to the Gospel”.... is “ repenting from all of your sins before you die in order to be Saved from Hell “ even “hinted at” in the Book Of Galatians? You obviously don’t read it so I will assure you that the answer is “ No” ....you not only add to and contradict Paul's Gospel ....you” trample the Blood Of Jesus”,declaring it is too weak to cover sins not remembered or the sins that we are not even aware of.....

The blood of Jesus does indeed have the power to cleanse from all sin; and if so, why do you teach that people don’t have to walk in this liberty of being free from sin?

He is our model in everything!
Patience Implies suffering!
