You mean wearing one on your necklace, or getting a Cross Tattoo?
I do this......<B>< ....... because i acknowledge publically that im part of "the Way", which is how the early Christians defined their "i make you fishers of Men", faith
So that FISH <>< is a symbol and i use it here..
I have a Painting posted in my "behold" Alt Box, and that is Jesus, resurrected, with people clinging to their Lord.
So, there is a mile of difference between all i just wrote, and kissing a stature, and praying to a stature, and praying to the "blessed virgin", as that is not being done SYMBOLICALLY.
Matt 23 why does Jesus say to obey the successors of Moses?
John 13:20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
Mary is the mother of "the son of man".
Heb 7:
[1] For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
[2] To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
[3] Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
If you are worshiping a bronze, silver, gold, or lead cross with a dead guy on it, yes, that's idolatry. If you are not worshiping the crucifix, but a dead person in reality, yes, that's idolatry. If you are worshiping the risen Christ who ministers before the throne of His Father in the heavenly sanctuary as our Mediator, that is true worship.you forgot the crucifix is that idolatry also?
I also found favor with God. Consented to our salvation? What a bizarre stretch from that verse. Consented tthe Lord's will being done, sure. But she didn't have a clue as to what she was consenting to apart from a miracle birth. She did not know she was going to give birth to Messiah Himself. She did not know she was giving birth to the pre-existent Son of God. Nor did she know He was going to die for her sins. So how could she consent to our salvation when she had no idea what that entailed? She recognized God as her Savior...she didn't know His Son was going to be hers also. Mary was operating on faith. She trusted God to do whatever He wanted, she just made herself available. Just as numerous others have done throughout human history.And Mary found favor with God Lk 1:30
Consented to our salvation Lk 1:38
authority of the keys and power of binding
Taken from them given to peter and the apostles and therefore their successors
mother of entire person both God and man
I don't know ANYBODY who prays TO a painting or a statue.So, you are teaching that we are to pray to statues on walls and statues inside cathedrals.
Yes, i know you believe this, or you would not say the bible does not say we can't.
How many saints do you pray to, Mary worshiper?
How many saint's medal's do you have?
How many days are delegated as a "saints' day by your cult?
So, who do you think you are fooling with your redundant and retarded lying?
Your "blessed virgin"..... who your cult says, is still a virgin, is understood by your cult to be a "meditrix", with Christ being the Mediator.
You have heard of....>"pray for us now and at the hour of our death"?, as if Mary can see each catholic, a couple of billion at the same time, and see you die?
Thats CRAZY .
Do you understand CRAZY? You should, as your cult is full of this nonsense.
And how many statues of Mary have you seen in your life, ? And yet none of that is Idolatry?
And how many photos of the Pope do you want me to post here again, so that you can see this person's idolatry as he kisses her stature.
Are you ready for more?
Wel,, now you're LYING again.There are no contradictory verses to 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (kjv), Hebrews 10:14 (kjv), and 1 John 3:9, either.
Yet you accuse me of cherry-picking them.
So, either your verse on kecharitomene is cherry-picking or else my verses are not.
Also, my verses show clearly that your interpretation of the verse in question ("kecharitomene") is faulty.
For it should be clear that by one offering the Lord has perfected for ever those who are sanctified (Hebrews 10:14). Now compare that to 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (kjv) and you might see that the way that I have said it, is the correct translation.
As also, reading Hebrews 10:10 will also show that the way that I have said it is the correct translation.
In other words - you have NO intelligent response for the fact that I obliterated your post regarding Mary's Biblical title of "Kecharitomene" and its linguistic implications.Pretty confidant you aged a bit since our last encounter, even had a bit of hope you might had gained some wisdom...
But I see that you are stuck, always opening with some intended derogatory remark, then carrying promoting your extra-Biblical doctrine.
Seriously, you should try reading the Scripture for True Knowledge and Asking God for His True Understanding....Because your man-made teaching is a fail.
Wel,, now you're LYING again.
And YOU said you "never" sin . . .
I never said that those verses were contradictory.
I said that they were SEEMINGLY-contradictory, until you read them ALL in context with one another.
In other words -
"in other words";
"anti-catholic";
"wrong"
One could quiet easily envisage the depth or breadth of grace was commensurate according to the need. Where sin abounds, grace does much more abound. Now I'm not suggesting that Mary was a great sinner and therefore needed more grace, but I would suggest the "highly favored" aspect... The "full of grace" aspect... Was in direct relation to the one being born... Not the one giving birth.In your usual long-winded, psychotic-rant syle - you have said NOTHING that akes ay sense.
And rejecting the Greek text gets you nowhere . . .
The fact is that there is NO good single-word translation for the Greek, "Kecharitomene".
According to the scholars at Biblical Hermeneutics Stack Exchange:
"The Greek word κεχαριτωμένη (kecharitōmenē) is the word of contention here as regards translation differences. And it is has much to do with the theology of the translator, but only to a degree—no translations of it have been strictly wrong or right since only dynamic translations (“full of..,” “highly..” etc.) are really possible with such a grammatically rich word. That is, it is difficult to render a single Greek word so rich in meaning (grammatically) into an equivalent word in English: in fact, that is arguably impossible (without being a very ugly translation)."
Jerome used "Gratia plena (full of grace) and the editors of the KJV used "thou that art highly favoured".
NEITHER is a decent translation of Kecharitomene - although Jerome's comes closer to the truth.
It's NOT about "defending a narrative".
It's about linguistic FACTS . . .
I don't know ANYBODY who prays TO a painting or a statue.
An honest person knows that those are simply reminders - but nobody ever accused yOU of being honest . . .
As to your pathesic lack of faith in God and HIS power - I'm not surprised.
Neither Mary nor anybody else in Heaven can hear a billion or more people by their OWN power. HOWEVER - with God, ALL things are possible (Matt. 19:26). They are IN Christ. and are the cloud of witnes
So, the ONLY thig "Crazy" here is the thought of YOU telling GOD that He is crazy - when you're being judged . . .
You should tell your Pope that Mary wont be there at the time of your death or at the time of His.
See how he reacts.
Let us know.
You should tell your Pope who twists his beads and prays to MARY and other SAINTS, that you deny you do it, and that you don't agree with His Theology.
Look, if you are embarrassed to admit what your water cult teaches and believes, and you should be.... then just admit it, as lying about it, and trying to pretend this is not what you do, and your Roman Leader does, and the others like you on this Forum do, including MaryMOG..... is not working for you.
Listen, just admit the truth, but, keep in mind, your efforts to recruit real believers into the "cult of the virgin" is a bonafide fail.
Total Fail, and will continue.
I think you forget that this is not a "cult of the virgin" forum.
The members here are not interested in hearing about water regeneration or mary's ascension, or the "holy father", or purgatory, or ash Wednesday, or Transubstantiation, or venal or moral sins, or how much penance you have to do based on your horrible behavior on this Forum.
how much more the immaculate queen of heaven ever Virgin mother of God!!!
She's not a virgin.
She's not Queen of anything.
WRONG.No...but you are bearing false witness in saying that I am lying.
