Well I am very blunt and direct and call a spade a spade, so to so many people to day that comes off as being rude. Just my nature and way I deal with issues. I never mean harm, but I am one who craves tro get to teh heart of the issue and not get to it like peeling an onion back layer by layer!
But that style was not welcome there, so be it!
Don't worry about them then. They're the ones with the problem not you. *HUGS*
Burt it hurts if you know they can be helped in an area but just close themself off.

Well, thank you for that Devin, because honestly, you do say the most radically unbiblical things sometimes. And then you wonder why you're met with a bit of shock or indignation? Yes, brutality or contempt are inappropriate if the recipient is sincere, but tolerance can also be unduly complacent or apathetic.
Just saying Devin, you absolutely freak me out with half your comments, to the point that I'm practically worried about you.
Does it surprise you that someone might have that reaction towards all the visions that you claim to have seen, and voices that you may have heard?

I agree, a lot of people find blunt honesty as rude or confrontational, in my experience they are what I refer to as “snowflakes”. I don’t mean it as derogatory, but other folks take it as name calling. I deleted my Facebook account months ago due to so much hate directed towards Christianity. I was raised in Conservative home, not a Christian home, so I have always leaned towards the right. That in and of itself can really be offensive to those more liberal folks. Sad to say, there are a lot of liberal/progressives in churches these days, and that may be by design. If Satan can reek havoc in the Church, he can divide and disrupt. Fortunately we know that Christ Jesus wins ultimately, praise His Holy Name!!!

I've had prophetic visions from God, heard His voice, (even audibly before) as well as the devil's once. So go ahead and call me a freak as well.
Thanks for being worried about me! I can always count on you for that special type of honest DNB :) You are unique and intelligent. I have similar worries about you accepting Jesus as God.

And yes, I do have an eye-brow raised, not in freak mode, but in alarmed mode.

There are many that doubt peoples visions and dreams, those people test a persons faith. But we must be strong and objective. I'm glad God has spoken to you, you are special to him (Matthew 5:8) and are near to pure of heart if I understand you correctly. I have had false visions and prophecies and some that came true and were precise.
I've been having neurological problems and prayed that God would deliver me from them. He appeared and placed about 5 different earthquakes in different locations around a country that he showed me and the exact locations. I watched as they all struck on the USGS earthquake map exactly where he placed them and within hours of the visions. He said it was a sign. I didn't understand, but the medication I suspected was causing the neurological problems I found was manufactured by that country. So I reduced my dosage and now my problems are reducing greatly and I'm OK now. I found that the neurological problem is listed as one of the rare side effects of the medication. So there was no way to know without God proving it to me and now I know also after reducing my dosage.

It seems that those that run these things in most cases have a take no prisoners mentality. They seem to enjoy getting the absolute power to run people's lives and what the bible says about forgivness is for another realm. When I remark that the bible says to forgive 490 times their reply is usually up yours figuratively speaking.
I am autistic and often I use language that is normal for me and they take umbrage at it but I cannot do anything about it because that is me. Despite my disability I am treated as a criminal the same as everyone else. The message they constantly give is unless you are perfect according to OUR standard, you are damned.

I agree but to be a moderator, you should have the wisdom to sort out the good from the bad. To ban someone because of one post as often is the case, is definitely unchristian.

It's like a silly game for certain people on Christian Forums to bait others into saying something that will get them in trouble with the mods and even banned. I've been chewed out by the mods on Christian Forums over nit picky rule violations before, but not banned. Someone once kept attacking me after I made it clear to him that we are not going to come to an agreement about the plan of salvation and instead of responding to his posts further, I simply gave him 'prayer' emoji ratings. I was letting him know that I was praying for him. He was perverting the gospel. He ended up reporting me for abusing my rating privileges and they were temporarily disabled. I've noticed a handful of avatar names on Christian Forums of people who were banned from other Christian discussion sites for teaching heresy, yet you can teach all the heresy you want on Christian Forums without getting banned. I was truly shocked to find out how many liberals, atheists and pseudo Christians were on that forum!
Especially in the political threads.I got banned there for being honest also. I said to the atheists that evolution ( not adaptation) was a fairy tale. That got me a point. I said Hillary Clinton was a career Liar, that got me a point. I wrote a parable about BLM violence getting them shot in the country. That got me a point. I forgot the others, but they were similar.

I like your humility, I was referring to your persistence of being true to yourself regardless of what people think. Instead of being phony. I think I've seen that in you, but I could be wrong? Cheers!
