THE LORD TAKES PLEASURE IN THE PROSPERITY OF HIS SERVANTS
Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant. Psalm 35:27

God==Have You not put a hedge about him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have conferred prosperity and happiness upon him in the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. Job 1:10 AMP

And the Lord shall make you have a surplus of prosperity, through the fruit of your body, of your livestock, and of your ground, in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. Deuteronomy 28:11 AMP

What "good" father ever wants to see his family sick, poor, and living under the curse of poverty?? God is the Good Father of born-again believers!

Luke 18:25 NIV - "Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."

Psalm 72:12 NLT - "He will rescue the poor when they cry to him; he will help the oppressed, who have no one to defend them."

I was always under the impression that God loves and saves the poor and oppressed, not the wealthy and those who don't need a doctor.

You know, I thought I believed this until I changes churches, and realized that I really did have a limited mind set on how much a believer should have in money. I could care less about money, but it is not right for me to judge wealthy pastors and stuff, because I don't know their budget and what they sow into the kingdom of God. After bills and things, if someone gives like 30% of their income, they are going to reap what they sow with this intentional giving and purpose to further God's kingdom in mind. But it really convicted my heart. And I realize a believer can help more with more money, especially in furthering God's kingdom, because people listen.

But also, we are sons and daughters of a king. Those in the Bible who were faithful in the Bible always had all this cattle and family, and land.

I always thought Jesus was poor, but gold, myrrh, and francincense probably was a life's wage then. Not to mention Joseph was a carpenter. I mean, I should have figured. He made money come out of a fish's mouth. I don't quite understand what he did with it, but it just blew my mind when this was told to me this way.

I always read these this way too. But what I am coming to understand is it is not physical wealth. It is spiritual wealth. If someone loves money, the root of all evil, they are going to have a hard time choosing God over it. But a Christian can be a billionare. They can be giving quiet millions in furthering the gospel and helping others. I think there can be "rich men" living poor financially also. Giving is a good indication on trusting and serving God. It really is eye opening and mind boggling to me after so many years of thinking a Christian should only have a median sized income basically. If you intentionally budget with God in mind, He really does want to bless and prosper His servants.

But the Kingdom of God should always, ALWAYS be in mind. Especially with money.

Well said! In fact, I sold my home for big profits so that I could re-invest it, create more movable monies, so that I can give to those who need it the most. By many worldly standards, the amount of money that I have is remarkable (to them). But to me, it isn't enough. I need more money so that I can give more money away.

Love what you wrote!

Below is the EXACT kind of person that the Lord loves:

2 Corinthians 11:23-25, 27 NLT - "Are they servants of Christ? I know I sound like a madman, but I have served him far more! I have worked harder, been put in prison more often, been whipped times without number, and faced death again and again. 24 Five different times the Jewish leaders gave me thirty-nine lashes. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked. Once I spent a whole night and a day adrift at sea. ... 27 I have worked hard and long, enduring many sleepless nights. I have been hungry and thirsty and have often gone without food. I have shivered in the cold, without enough clothing to keep me warm."

Well sorry I judged for so long. And God supplies our needs also, so if He makes someone rich He can trust to give to certain people at certain times, He will. I honestly don't know about that kind of power myself. Im starting to give more on a smaller scale. My pastor said they make giving and a "save to give" fund also to help others. He didnt say this in a bragging sense, it was the topic for the night. Id love to do that. We get our bills paid , but then have two kids and eat out quite a bit. So sort of glad giving is actually considered one of the lesser gifts from what I read. But then everyone should be doing that. And then investing, not even going there. Lol. We had this stock market game in highschool. My goal was just not to lose anything. I have learned with that sort of mindset, you don't get anywhere. Talents, monies, whatever. Can't be afraid to make a difference.

But it cost me everything.

Believe me, I understand. I, too, have lost all things (except lousy money), including family and former friends. The only person from my past is my former girlfriend who overheard me become overtaken by the Almighty Power of God. There is much that I could write, but few would ever understand. All I know is that God loves those who struggle, and have lost all things for Him. Why? Because if we Endure . . . we will be rewarded by the most unbelievable Life ever imagined. If people only understood the True Power of God.

Proud of you . . . and I believe in you!

Believing in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ is a part of that narrow way...if you don't you will die in your sins (John 8:24).

Are you ignorant too, will you add to salvation, will you too preach lies to death instead of Christ to salvation...

Believing in the Deity of Christ is not adding to salvation. It is a part of the original package.
