My son was talking to a friend of his from the USA, she is a frontline nurse. The vaccines have been issued in her hospital, however it is the CEO’s and the higher management at the hospital that are getting the vaccines first , many of which work from home. The frontline nurses ect have to wait.
This particular hospital IS dealing with ‘Real ‘ covid cases , and they are running out of beds. She relayed it has been constant since the pandemic really took hold. So this is not from a news source, media or any fake news site- this is actually happening.
Says a lot about people priorities.
Actually this whole pandemic has showed up what is is the heart of many people.

Who is getting the vaccine as a priority where you live ?
Here it is the frontline workers and the vulnerable.
Just interested and curious

The Vaccines here are going to patient contact nurses and doctors first...then admin staff that has patient contact...most of those have already received their first shots.

More have come in today. My wife is admin staff that works from home for researchers (research hospital) she is scheduled for getting hers...she should be soon. Possibly by end of the year.

I'm relegated to Walgreens pharmacy or something...so I won't be getting mine until January.

The state and county here have received their federally paid for doses but are "stockpiling" them. Of course that's got everyone upset here too. The county hospital is rife with coronavirus. The nurses and doctors need those Vaccines...they are already past capacity of patients. We think that the "stockpiling" is an excuse to give it to political employees. But we are watching
